Cajun Express

Been here a few times and the food is pretty good. The thing they are missing, in my opinion, is consistency in the finished product. It's not as good as when they first opened but that could be due to change in ingredients, cooks, location management or all of the above. That being said, I would not rule out going back. Just know that your experiences may vary.

Really enjoyed the food! I ordered the Rocket Shrimp appetizer (not spicy) and the beef lo mein. I mistakenly chose the "very spicy" option for the lo mein, and it was definitely too hot for me. I could only handle a bite or two, but the flavor was excellent, and I'll order it milder next time. The only issue was that I specifically asked if utensils were in the bag because I didn't have any at my new house. I was told they were included, but they weren't, so I had to drive back. Hopefully they can double-check takeout orders in the future. Overall, the food was delicious, and I'd definitely order again.

Update: came back in the next day to try out the garlic noodles with shrimp. Omg! It is so amazing! The flavor was so good, nice spice to it. The many shrimp were huge and delicious! Thanks again! Came in on a whim for carry out. I got the chicken bahn mi sandwich and it was fabulous! I really enjoyed watching them cook. It was so good I’m gonna go back tomorrow!

First time going to Cajun Express…3/26/26 I heard a lot about it on TikTok & I must say for $25 I was highly disappointed. To start I ordered turkey necks with fried rice…the turkey necks were well seasoned and cooked well. But the fried rice was like white rice. For $4.00 up charge is crazy considering it wasn’t actual fried rice. They throw an egg in there to make it better but it wasn’t. And it also was some type of lettuce on top of the rice. I did not bother eating that. It was just literally white rice. I lpaid for 4 little turkey necks and a pound of rice. I could have kept my money. Additionally I ordered a side of fries for $4.00 and the fries were not fresh. Which was very disappointing because it was something for my daughter I couldn’t even give them to her. They tasted as if they were sitting under a light, I’m assuming they thought it was a pass because it had some type of “Cajun” seasoning sprinkled on them. My personal opinion the fries should be switched out to a better brand I don’t think them being fresh would have made a difference. This is the reason for the 2-stars. For that amount of money I’ll take my chances elsewhere. I appreciate them trying but no thank you. 🙂‍↔️

Food was really good and the order just as we asked. After tasting the food my wife loved it and I was happy with it. We will definitely go back. Special Lo-Mein combo $15 Pot Stickers $5 Banh Mi Sandwich chicken $12 We order on a Kiosk and it was really easy unlike other big Mcrestaurant. Pick your entree and meat and done no mini options or any unnecessary stuff.
