Located at 425 S Western Ave Ste b, this Koreatown-area spot serves guests from morning until late night, with especially extended hours from Tuesday through Saturday. For diners searching for Vietnamese food in Los Angeles, that schedule makes it a practical option for an early bowl, a casual lunch, or a late-night stop when many kitchens have already closed. The menu item mentioned most clearly by customers is pho, and several reviews point to it as a reason to visit CALI PHO NIA. One guest called the pho terrific, while another said menu number 11 is especially good. Other diners describe the food as well made and delicious, which suggests that this restaurant appeals to people who want a straightforward, comforting Vietnamese meal without overcomplication. That kind of feedback is useful for diners who like to know what style and details to expect before they go.
What also stands out about CALI PHO NIA in Los Angeles is convenience. The business opens at 8:00 AM daily and stays open until midnight on Monday and Sunday, then until 3:00 AM from Tuesday through Saturday. Parking has also been mentioned by customers, with one review noting a $5 parking cost, which may help visitors plan ahead.
The atmosphere described by reviewers feels casual and functional rather than polished, with the focus staying on getting a hot meal on the table. Some customers mention very nice staff and say everyone does their best, while others report service that felt less welcoming. Taken together, the reviews suggest a place where the food is the main draw, while service can vary depending on timing and experience. For many diners, especially those prioritizing late hours and a satisfying bowl of pho, that tradeoff may still make sense.
For people exploring Vietnamese-owned businesses in Los Angeles, CA, CALI PHO NIA is worth knowing as a neighborhood restaurant with broad hours, recognizable pho, and a location that works well for casual dining. Sign in to reviewThe food was very well-made, very delicious. the waitress looks like she works hard but she could be a little more polite. worth trying out.
Great food and there open late till 2am , great service well recommended, on the menu number 11 👍 is real good. Parking is $5 it seems that when u don't tip good, her face changes on the waitress. Besides that, we'll recommend 👌
Terrific Pho. Very nice staff. Everyone does their best.
I have tried many different types of pho, I did not find this one to be all that great. The quantity of meat was very little and not tasty at all compare to other places, but maybe here is the normal portion. They don't use basil in their soups, instead cilantro. I will update my review if I try something different from their menu. I ordered through Uber Eats even though it took around 30 minutes to arrive, the broth was still hot. If you want the best broth, best presentation and best price, try Pho Eastern on Huntington Dr. (Grubhub)
Seems prejudice. Got there 11:10, they close at midnight. She walks up as we’re trying to sit and says kitchen closes at 11:30 we say that’s fine we can order right away and she says no we can only order to go and then keeps telling us we can’t order or eat there so we just left. Horrible people. There were two other tables eating there all Asians. It was clear me and my friend weren’t welcome.
