I have consistently had frustrating interactions with this State Farm location. It is not possible to set an appointment with an employee, if you ask they will say they're on the phone with clients all day and not able to block off time where they're unavailable. They are also very unresponsive via email, which makes it hard when you're trying to communicate with a specific person and cannot just step away from your own job at any unexpected point of the day. I have had trouble getting an expired credit card off of autopay and had to ask repeatedly for it to be removed after they threatened to cancel my renter's insurance multiple months in a row because the expired card kept getting rejected. Keep in mind, I had a new, not expired card on file that I had to ask about 4 times to be listed as the default card for autopay. Why you would cancel a policy rather than charge the other card on file is a mystery to me. The day after I enrolled in auto insurance with them, they canceled my auto insurance policy and did not tell me. They said that a letter was sent, but I never received one and have also asked not to get communications via the mail but to get them over email instead. I have been unable to get a clear narrative on why my auto insurance policy was canceled the day after I enrolled in it. It took me over 3 weeks to get a new auto insurance policy with them. I eventually had to take half a day off of work to go sit in the office to get this sorted out. While I was waiting for a call back about my auto insurance from one employee, another called to try to sell me life insurance. When the new policy for my auto insurance was put in place, they charged me $30 more per month than the original one that they immediately cancelled. Because it took so long for a new insurance policy to be instated, I was given a fine by the DMV. I asked if State Farm would pay for it and they said they'd bring it up to Carl Murray and never got back to me. Since then they have consistently hounded me to give a 5 star review and asked if I'd like to enroll in life insurance with them again. Honestly this entire experience has been draining and exhausting. I cannot get ahold of anyone who can give me quick assistance when I need something like car insurance, but they are suddenly very available when it comes to trying to ask for favors of their customers. To even ask someone who's had my experience to give a 5 star review is shocking to me. They seem way more focused on asking their customers to give dishonest good reviews than on actually doing anything that would earn a 5 star review. While the employees I have interacted with have been nothing but polite and understanding, I cannot in good conscience recommend this business to anyone. If anything, I feel bad for the people who work here who are clearly being pressured from higher-ups to get good reviews meanwhile they are not getting the support they need from the rest of the company (underwriting, for example, who took *ages* to get back to us). Asking your employees who are the first point of contact for customers to try to make up for the slow, disorganized, and generally crappy business practices of the rest of the company is not fair to them and your customers can see it.

Unlike some insurance agents who try to sneak in unwanted coverages that you have to go back and take off later, they didn’t add any sneaky upsells or pressure me into anything extra.
