My granddaughter and I had a quick lunch at this spot a couple of weeks ago before heading to a doctor’s appointment across the street. Everything was on point; from the warm welcome, cool vibe, charming decor and amazing food, we’ll definitely go back soon! It’s a hidden gem that I highly recommend! (The chicken sandwich was amazing and the fries are out of this world!!!)

I stumbled upon this hidden gem on Yelp. Initially, I was a bit taken aback when I entered. There was no one to greet me, and the restaurant was devoid of customers. However, the hostess emerged from the back with a cheerful and jovial demeanor. I perused the menu and decided to indulge in the Big Ass BLT. To my delight, the bacon was generous and not stingy at all. The bread was toasted to perfection, holding up well as I savored each bite of my BLT. Accompanying my sandwich was a side of pan-fried potatoes and onions. If I had known how delectable they were, I would have ordered a double portion. The only reason I gave this restaurant a 4-star rating is because the interior was freezing cold. It made it challenging to relax in such a great atmosphere. The potatoes were absolutely incredible—freshly cooked and thoroughly prepared. They had been in the oven for about 30 minutes. I would have ordered some to go, but I didn’t want to wait that long.

Food was amazing ~ Catfish, Greens, Candie Yams, and Cucumber Mint Lemonade definitely made my Friday. Every bite had my taste buds wanting more, and my mind reminiscing on Sunday dinner at my grandma's house. The vibe, and cleanliness of the cafe was excellent and matched the great service from the young lady working the counter. Definitely going on my list of Great spots in Fort Worth Tx. Oh and the Owner even stepped out and spoke with me during her bussy day just to make sure I was good. Now that's A1 service and much appreciated.

Made a fortuitous mistake in that we arrived an hour early for our dentist appointment so we decided to grab breakfast. Had the Pennsylvania Pounder, which was sausage, bacon, egg, cheese, and avocado slices on a croissant. My son had the Simple Chick, a biscuit with chicken and gravy. The food was obviously cooked after ordering and was FANTASTIC. The building itself is decorated warmly with plants and a nice patio. The music was good and not overpowering. My son and I may make this a regular stop when we come downtown.
