Castle Dental & Orthodontics - Katy, TX

This is by far one of the best dental offices I’ve been to! Everyone is so kind and friendly, and they make what can be a stressful visit feel easy and comfortable. The doctor was thorough, and explained everything clearly, and really involve me in the treatment decisions. I was so nervous as I haven’t been to a dental office in years but the girls in the front made me feel much better and I did not feel judged. Dr. Ana is also the sweetest dentist I’ve ever met. I will not be going elsewhere ❤️

The front desk staff are very nice and courteous, but they need to improve on informing the patients what is required for their appt at least two days prior to their appt and not 3 hours prior to your visit. Letting a patient know they have to pay $1300 the same day, 3 hours prior to their appt is inconsiderate to think that pt can afford to pay that amount! And they need to also verify pt’s insurance as whether pt’s insurance has expired, again at least 1-2 days prior to their appt! And also ask the patients whether or not if they had any surgeries within the last few months, so they will no they need to take an antibiotic 1 hr prior to services are rendered!! Patient’s time is important they had to take off from work and rearrange their schedule. Does this office have an Office manager? Whenever I asked to speak to the manager, he or she is never available! And I am never asked I can leave a message for the manager!! And when you missed an appt or did not reschedule within the required time, then you are charged $50. I was never informed of a no show fee or even signed an agreement, There is nothing posted in the waiting room of a No Charge fee or missed appt or failure to reschedule within the time that is required!!! This was my first and last visit at this dentist. I arrived for an appointment on 6/19 at 2pm, the front desk lady was excited because that meant she could leave once I got there. I waited about 10 minutes, went back to have X-rays taken, once they were completed I had to wait for a room to be ready. Once in the room I waited over an hr for the dentist to come in I started to fall asleep, she looked at 4 of my teeth and told me I would need a $470 cleaning which she claimed my insurance wouldn’t cover, she didn’t even offer the standard cleaning which would’ve been covered and didn’t even bother to correctly look at my teeth. I will definitely be making an appointment somewhere else and won’t be back. They claimed they got slammed at the end but when I walked in only one other person was in a room being helped

This was my first time at Castle Dental, I booked the earliest appointment available at 7am. The front desk and dental assistant were nice and prompt. Once my X-rays were completed. I was placed in the room to wait for the Dentist. I believe her name is Ana took about 25 minutes+ to come to the room. The dental assistant kept coming to check on me due to such a long wait, mind you I had a 7am appt. I had to ask the front desk how much longer due to me having to go to work. Dentist comes in, spends 5 minutes then denies my cleaning, which my insurance covers. This will be my first and last time at Castle Dental unfortunately, I was not please with the Dentist and her lack of punctuality. I didn’t leave that appt till 8:30 and all I did was x-rays and the dentist looked at my teeth for 5 minutes.

Absolutely love the dentist- very kind and takes good care of her patients. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's easy to get an appointment without a long wait time. Highly recommend.
