Catherine Corovessis, MD

Dr. Corovessis is an amazing and compassionate physician. She delivered both of my children. As an African American woman, I had complications after the birth of both of my children and when I say she took absolutely good care of me? She literally made herself available to me via direct text & call at any hour of the day. I have referred her to all my female family members and friends. She is my forever ObGyn. There are times whereby she would run late for appointments, but that is expected of an ObGyn since she does do deliveries at a hospital and then comes to her clinic. patient care does not always go as planned. For those worried about lateness, pick a physician who cares about your health.

I will preface this by saying I rarely get on the internet to write scathing reviews, but this is completely warranted. I am an RN and my experience with Catherine Corovessis was the WORST I have ever experienced with a doctor. I absolutely adored my son’s OB, but unfortunately had to switch when I moved and became pregnant with my daughter. Corovessis was over an hour late for every appt I saw her for. When I asked why the wait is always ridiculously long, she didn’t apologize, instead she said - well I was out of the office last week. She has zero clue about time management and does not respect her patients time. After I complained about this I was told that it would be best if I found another OB - at 23 weeks pregnant. THEN this doctor proceeded to blacklist me from every OB she has any association with in Katy. I have found another OB and she is awesome, wait times are less than 15 minutes.

Dr. Corovessis and her staff are amazing! Dr. Corovessis is very patient, kind and answers every question, she never rushes during my visits. She is very knowledgeable! I met her in emergency room in year 2007. I start visit her since then. She remembers my healthy problem and remind me when I need to have test and guide me through my difficult years. I don’t know how the to express my appreciation to Dr. Corovessis. She is like a angel to me. I’m so thankful Dr. Corovessis and her staff. I’m greeted with kindness and respect every visit. The staff always answers the phone and when I have a question they get back to me at a timely manner.

Dr Catherine Corovessis was nice but horrible office staff. I'm not surprised how low her google scores are. Shame on you Dr Catherine for not insisting your staff put the patients first. We all come with different issues, anxiety, health issues, baggage in general and for your staff to previously be abrasive, dismissive over the phone and refuse to schedule an appointment on a previous patient that you performed hospitalized surgery. Its shocking and seems unethical. Basically taking the insurance money on a major surgery than refusing future service. I choose you to do that surgery because I trusted you. I have never forgot how your staff treated me over the phone. I actually will be calling tomorrow to get a copy of my surgery notes/records to get sent to Kelsey Seybold.
