I would not recommend this location or organization to prospective employees based on my personal experience. When I accepted employment, I was genuinely excited about the opportunity and looked forward to making a positive impact in patients' lives. Unfortunately, my experience was far different from what I expected. Throughout my employment, I experienced what I perceived to be a hostile and unsupportive work environment. Concerns that I raised from the beginning of my employment were repeatedly overlooked, and despite multiple attempts to communicate issues through the appropriate channels, little to no action was taken. Field clinicians and Home Health Aides are the individuals who directly serve patients in their homes and are a critical part of the organization's success. However, I often felt undervalued and unsupported despite the significant responsibilities placed upon me. I was expected to use my personal vehicle to cover extensive territories throughout North, West, and East Charlotte, resulting in substantial wear and tear, fuel expenses, and uncompensated time spent traveling. Considering the workload, travel demands, and compensation structure, the position was not financially sustainable and did not adequately reflect the responsibilities required. In addition, many patients expressed frustration and dissatisfaction with how services were managed and coordinated. As a Home Health Aide responsible for covering such a large service area, I often found myself stretched beyond reasonable capacity. It was impossible to be in multiple locations at the same time, yet expectations continued to increase without adequate staffing, support, or realistic scheduling. I genuinely cared about my patients and worked hard to meet their needs, but the workload, travel requirements, and lack of operational support made the situation increasingly difficult and ultimately unbearable. What was most disappointing was the lack of accountability from leadership. I was frequently held responsible for operational issues, communication failures, scheduling challenges, and circumstances beyond my control, while management rarely acknowledged or accepted responsibility for their own shortcomings. Rather than addressing concerns constructively, the culture often felt dismissive, discouraging, and unsupportive. As a frontline employee who repeatedly voiced concerns, yet meaningful solutions were rarely implemented. A workplace should foster professionalism, respect, teamwork, accountability, and open communication. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. The ongoing stress, lack of support, unrealistic expectations, and unresolved workplace concerns ultimately left me with no reasonable alternative but to resign in order to protect my professional well-being and peace of mind. My hope is that leadership will take employee concerns seriously, improve accountability, provide better support for field staff, and create a healthier work environment for the dedicated clinicians and caregivers who work hard every day to care for patients and represent the organization in the community. Employees and patients alike deserve an organization that values their time, concerns, and contributions.

This review is for the woman who runs the front desk/ reception/ admin at this location. One of the rudest, short-tempered people I’ve come across in a long time. Every encounter with her over the phone has left me feeling like I am a nuisance or a burden simply by asking questions as if I’m taking time out of her busy day. I’ve never been rude or unreasonable yet I get met with an annoyed tone and short answers on standard questions. Issues don’t escalate when you have employees that care enough about people to provide simple answers. Centerwell should really take more care in the choosing who to represent them. On the other hand, the therapists have been excellent. Very kind, compassionate and courteous. I can easily give them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I would like to thank everyone at Centerwell for the care and compassion they show to their PT patients. Total knee replacement comes with unexpected pain and stress! Thank you Gemi and thank you Donna Moose for the time spent explaining every detail and answering every question. Your knowledge blew me and my family away! You had the answer and solution to every pain! My neighbor even benefited from your knowledge ( she did not have Centerwell ) thank you again for helping me through this journey!Centerwell truly cares!!!!

I am pleased with the consistency and follow-ups of the home health program.

The team at CenterWell Home Health consistently does a great job and provides a wonderful service. My Mom has early stage Alzheimer's Disease and has recently taken a couple falls. She has needed help with speech pathology, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. The team at CenterWell including Laura, Cathryne, Ebony, Kristi, and Maureen have come into my Mom's house and provided exceptional home health care to my mother. Destiny in the office has also been a great help as well. I highly recommend the CenterWell Home Health - Charlotte University team if you need home health support for your loved ones.
