Sign in to reviewI attended a cooking class here for the first time and it was great. The class was all about learning about and making sushi. The chefs were welcoming, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone was having a good time. They provided fresh ingredients and even though my sushi rolling skills needed work, all the dishes tasted delicious. Looking forward to another cooking class at this location.
Central Market is a premier destination and one of my favorite places to visit. It is truly an experience that every visitor to Texas must have. The atmosphere is vibrant and the quality of products is second to none. You will find yourself looking forward to your next visit before you even finish your current trip. The convenience of having a fresh pizza prepared for you while you shop is unmatched. Their salad selection is consistently fresh and the wine department offers more options than one can imagine. The abundance of samples allows you to explore the best of the best with confidence. For the full experience, visit the cafe and order the burger and fries. It is a top tier meal that lives up to the standard of excellence found throughout the store. You will certainly leave wanting more. Please leave a heart and a thumbs up if you find this helpful.
Ever looking for a date night or activity with friends? Look no further than Central Market’s cooking class. We had the privilege of being served by Chef Nancy tonight. Incredible food, entertaining, and educational! Would highly recommend for corporate events as well.
Lots of fresh produce, great breads baked in-store, plenty of meats, including a very wide range of cured meats like salame and pepperoni and ham. Ready to eat meals and sides. Specialty jams, spices, and so on. Love their floral section where you can spend less and get more. Almost every time I visit, the check-out is easy and there is little to no wait. Big parking lot, though you may still have to park a but away from the front door during super busy times. Very happy to be able to shop here for my cravings.
Central Market is hit and miss. Just like HEB, some of their bakery and deli items are excellent (the rotisserie chicken salad and raisin oatmeal cookies are fantastic) while others are horrible (their fresh squeezed OJ isn’t sweet, the King Ranch Casserole is icky and their prepared foods overall have a lot of nasty ingredients. Can you say over processed food?). That said, other than Whole Foods their olive bar is second to none. Some employees are friendly but most of the cashiers are curt to say the least. Not really an upscale experience. I wish Gelsons or Bristol Farms from SoCal would come here. Or AJs from Scottsdale. We need a TRUE upscale grocery store in DFW.
