Nice quaint restaurant. Ordered braised beef noodle soup and got it super fresh and hot. Noodles were perfect, the beef was tender, flavorful and thick. There were some vegetables in there too, the broth was delicious and the portion was great for the price. The lady gave me a bonus milk tea which was also good and not too sweet. Overall it was an authentic dish and I will definitely try the other dishes next time.
I really wanted to give 5 stars because the customer service was so kind and the food was good but....... the flavor was just too sweet (the braised pork, pork chops, and sausage. The tea egg was perfect). If they could be more savory, it would be perfect!! We were pleasantly surprised that the bentos each come with a free milk tea 😊 which tasted fine. Maybe this was a one-off. We will give it another try next time!
The service was great and the food is delicious! They have the best Taiwanese popcorn chicken that’s crispy and still tender on the inside. Their milk tea and soy marinated eggs are also a must try.
My family of four are visiting from Austin Texas, we stayed in Kent, search nearby restaurants, find Champions Gourmet Taiwanese Cafe, decide to try it. We’re so glad that we did, the food tastes great, we’ve ordered beef stew noodle, …
Food was delicious! The meat in the beef noodle soup was perfectly tender! The tea eggs were yummy too! The servers were so nice. One of them even came to the table to check on how we were enjoying the food and offered free milk tea for my kids (which was also very good). Great food and service. We will be back.
