Charlie's Car Repair | Autobody Shop is an auto repair shop at 4012 W Charleston Blvd in Las Vegas, NV. For drivers looking for a neighborhood garage for automotive repairs, customer feedback points to a shop where honesty, practical knowledge, and clear pricing matter. The business has a 4.5-star rating from 244 reviews, reflecting a range of customer experiences rather than a promise that every repair will go the same way. Its location on West Charleston Boulevard makes it a local option for people in Las Vegas who need help with a vehicle and want to discuss the work directly with a repair team.

Reviews mention work on significant engine problems, including a head-gasket repair and a truck motor installation, alongside other automotive needs. One customer reported receiving an estimate of $2,000 to $3,000 for a head gasket, with the final bill at about $2,500, and said the car ran very well afterward. Another praised Gerry and the team for installing a motor in a truck and described the price as fair. These are individual accounts, not a complete service menu, so drivers should contact the shop to confirm whether it handles a particular repair, what inspection is needed, and how costs are estimated.

Customers often describe the atmosphere as an old-fashioned garage with modern repair knowledge. Reviews mention staff members Gerry and Kenny, with one customer noting Kenny's dry humor and automotive knowledge. Several long-term customers say they have returned for years and value the shop's straightforward approach. Those comments may appeal to drivers who prefer a familiar local repair shop and a direct conversation about their vehicle. Experiences are not uniform: one reviewer said an emissions leak persisted after repeat visits. That feedback is a reminder to explain symptoms clearly, ask what a repair warranty covers, and discuss next steps if a concern returns.

Charlie's Car Repair | Autobody Shop is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and closed Saturday and Sunday. Before visiting, drivers can call or stop by the West Charleston Boulevard address to ask about availability, the repair process, and an estimate. Bringing details about warning lights, unusual smells, recent repairs, or when a problem occurs can help the team understand the issue. Whether you are seeking engine work, a motor installation, or help diagnosing another automotive concern, this Las Vegas shop offers a local place to start the conversation. Confirm current hours and service options directly before making plans.

I am so pleased with the service! I needed a head gasket, he quoted me $2,000 to $3,000, it ended up being about $2,500. My car runs like a top now! All of my neighbors said that he does good work, he even knew my upstairs neighbor by name. And he said that he brings of his cars there for repairs! I trust this guy implicitly. Side note: he said that he's had the same crew for years. I would highly recommend Charlie's to anyone and I do! 🤠👍

Really like this place, it's like an old fashioned garage (but w/modern knowledge to fix any vehicle) that my dad used to take me to where a spoken word is a promise. Kenny, behind the counter, may appear a little gruff at 1st, but he has a dry sense of humor and excellent auto knowledge. This place is not fancy, but if you want plain speaking and a good price, go here. I'll be back.

Been here twice already for the same issue thought the problem was fixed but nope my car still has emissions leak and i can smell so much gas i get that theres warranty but if i have to come back once a month to get it "fixed" id rather pay more and go to the dealership where i know it willl be fixed correctly the first time. Save your money go somewhere better. If is takes 10 trups to get it fixed i promise you the dealership is the better deal

Could not find a better shop in town, I've never had a negative experience here in the 20 plus years I've been taking vehicles to them. They've always been %100 honest which is a huge deal to me as I had worked at a few other auto shops before I got into HVAC and they all had greed driven practices ; I've never seen this at Charlie's That's why I never hesitate to refer my friend's and family to them, it feels good knowing who ever I send there way is going to be taken care of and not ripped off If I had any complaints I'd like to place them here, but honestly I can't come up with even one
