Cho Dang Village - Plano

This place is solid! Clean interior, very friendly service, and delicious food! My friend and I ordered the following: Combo special w/ tofu soup and korean bbq ribs Cold arrowroot noodles Tofu soup was very comforting and had a good kick (I ordered the medium and it was just right). The ribs were savory, tender, and delicious. The noodles were refreshing and I loved how they had splices of apple and pear! The banchan were all fantastic too! Korean food in Dallas is known to be top tier and Chodang village definitely contributes to that reputation.

This place gets packed really fast, especially on the weekends, and come early if you want to find parking. First time here, and I have to say, overall, it was just a solid experience. The servers were extremely busy, but they did their best to provide good service. Our table ordered a variety of different dishes, and the overwhelming consensus was that it was just solid. Not good, not special, just solid. I was especially disappointed in the Tonkatsu. Size wise, it looked pleasing to the eye, but it was so thin. As if, they starved the cutlet before frying it. Is it a horrible dining decision? No. Is it the best dining decision? No. If you're in the area, is it worth trying? Maybe. I would say it depends on your level of experience with Korean food. P.S The side dishes were pretty good though.

First time in this restaurant and I was impressed with how delicious and fresh the food tasted. My sister recommended to try and glad we went. Good customer service. You do not feel rushed once you are seated. Not long wait for the food to be served. Short ribs were amazing. Bulgogi meat so soft and tender to eat. Side dishes plenty to mix and try. The clay hot pot keeps the food warm. Come Hungry because they give a big portion for dinner. In

Nice clean restaurant with pushy service. Communication was a problem. They weren't that busy, but I sure felt rushed. They were not that flexible. They did not answer menu item questions very well. We did not have a fluent Korean language speaker in our group. I'm not big on Korean food. My party is. I liked that they had squeeze bottle of gochujang sauce.

Great Korean restaurant. Everything we had tasted good. The short rib was thick, tender, and delicious. Their kimchi jigae was one of the better ones in the DFW area, and the seafood soon tofu soup was also up to par. For their sides the japchae and cucumber I really liked. Their kimchi probably isn't the very best around but was still good. The speed at which they brought out our food was really impressive and everything still seemed freshly cooked and hot. The only issue was that there was spilled soup on the floor next to our table which wasn't very pleasant.
