Homeless discrimination. I walked in and she gave me a scared look, I explained I was there for a haircut and she said she was busy. There was no line, no one in front of me at first. And I watched cuz this happens a lot. She wasn't working on anyone, the lady she was with was finishing up. Half an hour or so later a woman and girl walked in. I figured she went by appt. Just in case I recorded the conversation. I asked her if I can schedule an appt. It took her a while but then she said she was busy all day and tomorrow. And every time I asked about availability, it took her a while to respond. She said she was busy today and tomorrow after I asked about an appt. Earlier, she didn't even mention she was busy the next day. And in the half hour she had no customers she could've done my hair. I even asked about Tuesday and she cut me off saying to just go to another salon. The kind of look she gave me and the way she came up with a new reason to not be able to cut my hair is something I've only experienced recently, since becoming homeless. I ended up going to another salon and they greeted me and were very polite. The man who cut my hair made the effort to talk to me and made sure he did my hair right, asked things like if I was from the area or where i lived. Stuff like that is always awesome, making me feel like a person. Plus they gave me complimentary water. Don't go to Bella Ciao, go to The Salon by Lori.

I have been going to Angela Thu at Ciao Hair Salon for 7-8 years and always feel like a million dollar when I walk out of her salon. She is the best at what she does and most trusted hairdresser. She is so versatile in hair styling and an amazing make up artist as well. She always make me look beautiful when I have an event to go to. Best of all, her services don’t cost an arm and a leg either!

First time cutting a men’s hair, very good. Second time a different lady cut my hair, came out choppy. One side was cut OK but the other side had more hair than the other. The front was VERY choppy, when hair was laid down you can see how choppy it is. The sides was horrible, not blending in the hair and the right side having a patch of hair. The back is unexplainable, crooked and left with a bald spot. Overall horrible, please have employees learn how to cut hair properly, was not satisfied.

After years of spending more money at chain haircut businesses for a cheap quality haircuts, I was happy to discover this salon where they pay attention to every detail and style you well. They do not rush and do a good job. I typically walk-in and they are pretty quick. Prices are lower than any place I have ever visited and quality is excellent.

I had my head cut twice :). I am satisfied Huyen was my stylish or barber / as you wish. She is experienced and confident in her skills. I wanted a traditional viet style for men and she used the knife to do the job. Fairly good and the style came out well. Price was $10 I added another $10 Second time I ordered a high and right like military cut. She used the trimmer and made quick work of my traditional hair. The style came out well. The price was $10 and I added $5. I hope everyone can help support the community. By adding a bit more when they can to the low price.
