Citiwide Properties

I've been with Citiwide Properties for a couple of years now, and it has been pleasant. David Le, the broker, is very responsive and takes the time to reach out to me via phone to answer any questions I may have. The fees are also very reasonable.

We rented a home almost two months ago, and Chi Ngoc Ly is the agent that helped us. She is very professional, prompt and responsive. I see complaints, but the application process went well for us. There were several issues that we noticed during and after moving in. The home hasn't had proper upkeep or cleaning over the years, my understanding is the landlord just acquired it not knowing the problems. Citiwde is only rated a 3, but... They did replace a toilet leaking feces and urine. They're addressing various other issues in the home. They've said they're not addressing the Mold/ mildew/ pet urine because it's costly to fix and this is a rental. I appreciate their honesty. I rarely give bad reviews, so I'm giving them 4 stars. The application process was easy, they're prompt to respond to calls, they are trying to address the issues. I'll update my review as we go along.

I've been working with Citiwides for less than a year and I've never felt more supported. David always prompt in responding to our emails and phone calls, and he kept us updated throughout the process.

Broker David has an agent named Julee . Julee collects fifty dollars per person on the rental application . This fifty dollars is not refundable . Recently she showed a property just one hour after it became available on Zillow. The couple paid one hundred for this fee. Couples credit score is in the excellent range and income is overqualified. Couple has a clean background check as well. Julee harassed the couple by calling them at ten o clock at night asking for unbelievable documents from their bank and the couple provided all information requested. Julee would not update the couple on the status of their application to rent the home. The couple has their own realtor and it appears Julee does not want to split a commission with the couples realtor. Julee later tells the couple that their are five other people with applications and three are more qualified to rent the home. Hard for me to believe being it is rare to have a credit score as high as this couple has today, With a overqualified income it lets me know it is a scam of collecting lots of cash that is non refundable. The couple are Muslim and of Arab decent . Racial profiling is illegal and religious freedom is right we all have in America. When the couple had a person call that has an American name they were told the property is available. The board of realtor s has been notified as well as the ACLU. I am sharing this information hoping that justice for the couple will prevail. Several other organizations have been contacted with complaints over this illegal action of David and Julee. I hope they lose their license due to illegal actions on their part. Their treatment of this couple is an example of prejudice and racism.
