The location's modest, neighborhood feel comes through in customer comments that describe it as convenient, quaint, and easy to visit when passing through the area. At Coffee Time, the menu gives customers more than a simple coffee run. Options noted by visitors include coffee, iced coffee, lattes, sandwiches, bagels, and smoothies, making it easy to choose a beverage alone or pair it with something filling. The variety is a recurring point in local feedback, as is the value of the food and drinks. Generously sized smoothies and the wide sandwich selection are especially useful for guests wanting a quick breakfast or an uncomplicated lunch. Coffee preferences are personal, and one review found its plain iced coffee and latte less distinctive, while other feedback consistently praises the overall selection, food, prices, and service. That range of feedback offers a balanced picture for new visitors.

The experience is geared toward an efficient, personable stop rather than a large cafe setting. Reviewers regularly mention staff who remain sweet, friendly, and welcoming even when the shop is busy. Outdoor seating adds a relaxed option for taking a break, picking up an order, or enjoying food before heading to the nearby marina. Its industrial-area location gives Coffee Time a distinctive everyday character: it can suit commuters and local workers, while still being a useful find for travelers exploring this part of San Leandro. Parking has been described as limited, so visitors who are driving may appreciate allowing a little extra time during busier periods.

For people searching for a weekday coffee shop in San Leandro, CA, Coffee Time is best suited to coffee to go, a casual breakfast, or a straightforward sandwich-and-smoothie stop. It can work well for solo visitors, coworkers grabbing something before the day begins, and anyone heading toward the marina who wants food and a drink in one place. Weekday hours are Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; the shop is closed Saturday and Sunday. Checking the schedule before a visit is helpful, particularly for afternoon or weekend plans. Whether you choose outdoor seating or take your order along, Coffee Time brings approachable service and everyday cafe choices to 2105 Doolittle Dr in San Leandro, California.

The variety of items here is great, and the staff are always friendly. This little spot is very convenient, and even though it gets busy, everyone is incredibly sweet and welcoming. I love that it has outdoor seating, and its location in an industrial area near the marina gives it a unique charm. Parking has always been available whenever I’ve gone, which makes it even easier to stop by. So far, everything I’ve tried has tasted very good. Highly recommend this local gem!

This is a nice little spot for some friendly service, really good coffee, sandwiches, bagels and even smoothies. All at a very good price! Giant smoothies for less than $6 bucks and a ton of different sandwiches for like $9 bucks. Great place to stop at if you're in the area 👍

I’m a coffee lover willing to try new coffees wherever I travel especially in support of mom and pop places. This little spot was convenient. Unfortunately, I can’t give them my 5 stars because the plain iced coffee and latte were lackluster at best. But that’s only my opinion so take it with “a grain of salt,”if you will. They were so sweet and the place was continuously busy. The locals love it! The little shop with outdoor seating is located in an industrial area near the marina. Breakfast entree photos looked yummy and people have given the coffee many kudos so I say give them a try!

Small quaint building with some seating outside. Great for coffee to go and can get some food and go down to nearby marina. Nice staff and prices are low. Better quality than the chain coffee houses and much better food.
