Ken Jones was absolutely amazing. He helped me make a purchase for my first home and helped my parents purchase a home WHILE THEY WERE OUT OF TOWN! His attention to detail and responsiveness is absolutely unparalleled. He went above and beyond making everything seamless for us. Some realtors are unreliable and hard to get a hold of, Ken and his was on the front end of everything from start to finish and made things very simple. He had a contact for every third party service we needed; moving, title, loan, ac, electricity, etc. All of the professionals he gave us afterwards were equally as impressive in their service.

I worked with Beth Lefkowitz for my home buying in Bellaire area. She's an excellent realtor, very knowledgeable and extremely well informed about the area. She worked with us as a trusted mentor, guiding us through with her valuable unbiased feedback that helped us immensely making the right decisions throughout. She was extremely professional, yet friendly, kept up very well with our very demanding schedules, understood our needs very well. Overall, it was a pleasure working with her, I'll strongly recommend her as realtor.

If you are about to buy or rent a house represented by Coldwell Banker United, Realtors either run in the other direction or make sure that you have an army of inspectors before you sign an agreement, even if you are only renting. These people represent slumlords and write custom leasing agreements that strip the renters of their rights and let the slumlords do what they want. We rented what seemed like a decent house in Meyerland. We found out 2 days after moving in that the owner is a slumlord and owns houses all over Houston in nice neighborhoods keeping them just intact enough to rent. This company represents her and writes custom leasing agreements for her. We could not live in the house for the last 6 months of our lease because it was so unfit for habitation. Mold, sewage leak in the backyard, water pipes in the house that were dissolving putting rust and lead into the water, exterior doors that wouldn't close, bad electric wiring, moisture seeping up through the slab during heavy rain, a diseased tree with huge rotting limbs that made it dangerous to be in the backyard at all, etc.... These are just some of the complaints that we had while living in this house. From my research I have found that other renters had similar experience in other properties owned by the same person represented by Coldwell Banker United, Realtors. We were unable to get out of our lease even one month early which we requested and were met with threats of suit and thousands of dollars of fines. Don't make the same mistake that we did.

The most unprofessional place that you could ever work with. I saw a rental house last Monday, filled out a lease application the following days and they said they submitted everything and it would start to be finalized. They said that the landlord wasn't responding and they "hadn't heard back." Elissa Singletary showed me the house and then tried to have me sign a Buyer's Rep Agreement, and after I refused to sign it (because it is an extreme conflict of interest) and stated that I would use my own agent, Elissa refused to respond to ANY of my emails. My agent stated that it was a huge conflict of interest and Elissa failed to tell me that she was required, by Texas law, to provide an intermediary since she wanted to represent both myself and the landlord. She also neglected to tell me about the application fee that was listed. My agent called Elissa and the office multiple times to follow up and she ignored all of his calls. The office finally answered today and stated that the house was under contract. My agent also said numerous people have had problems with this branch of CB. So unprofessional and disappointing.

Beth Lefkowitz approved my application to lease a home and requested all adults planning to live in the home submit a background check, three in this case at $50 a piece which would be deducted from the deposit. We submitted them immediately only to have her call us the next day to say nevermind with no explanation. Now I'm out $150 and still looking for a new place to live. Thanks for nothing Beth and Coldwell banker United.
