Community Auto Repair is an auto repair shop at 1200 S Santa Fe Dr in Denver, Colorado. Drivers looking for help with repairs or maintenance can find a locally situated shop whose customer reviews describe attentive service, practical recommendations, and work on vehicles ranging from older classics to everyday cars. The shop has a 4.5-star rating from 645 reviews. That feedback offers useful context for people comparing Denver repair shops, while each vehicle’s needs and repair options are best discussed directly with the shop.

Customer experiences point to several kinds of work the team has handled. Reviews describe fixing leaks on a 1985 Toyota Corolla, addressing repair and maintenance needs for a 2013 Jeep, and diagnosing multiple problems on a 1991 Sunrader recreational vehicle. One traveler also recounts stopping in after a check-engine light appeared during a road trip. These examples suggest that the shop has worked with a variety of vehicles and concerns; they are customer accounts, not a promise that every repair or vehicle can be accommodated. A reviewer with a 1970 Chevy Malibu also describes seeking knowledgeable, honest help with a long-running project.

The service experience is another recurring theme. Customers mention friendly interactions, clear attention to their concerns, and help weighing repair options against a budget. One review specifically appreciates Scott for listening and discussing solutions for a Jeep, while another praises Ken and his technicians for diagnosing and repairing a stranded traveler’s Sunrader and staying in contact. Reviewers also call out reasonable prices and a willingness to work on an older Corolla. These individual accounts may help prospective customers understand the shop’s approach, but repair recommendations and costs will depend on the vehicle and its condition.

Community Auto Repair is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; it is closed Saturday and Sunday. Its South Santa Fe Drive location may be useful for Denver residents and for travelers who need to discuss a vehicle problem while in town. Whether you have a maintenance concern, a leak, a warning light, or an older vehicle that needs attention, contact the shop to ask about your specific needs, current availability, and an estimate before arranging service. The reviews make this a practical option to consider when looking for an auto repair shop in Denver.

I inherited a sweet 1970 Chevy Malibu Convt 15 years ago. For 15 years l have been seeking an honest, knowledgeable mechanic. For 15 years it has been a money dump and then purely by taking a wrong street l saw their 9th and South Downing place. From there I was sent to their place on West Tennessee. There l met Ken. He took the car and discovered how past work was either just falling apart or was ignored. I was awed and more than grateful. Now my 1970 Malibu will be living at his garage for several weeks till he can get to it. Community Auto Repair is filled with people, mechanical to body who understand these cars but more so the people who own them. It took lots of years and LOTS of poor quality work before l found Community Auto and l feel blessed. I feel so safe that l might just get the bird andConnecticut onnecticut. THANK YOU COMMUNIY AUTO Aand Marissa Marissa. Peter

Excellent service. Only shop I found that was willing to work on my 1985 Toyota Corolla. Fast and friendly service, reasonable prices. They addressed all the leaks so I could ship it to Hawaii (it made to the islands!)

Great customer service! I really appreciated Scott and the time he took to help us find the best solution for the repairs and maintenance our 2013 Jeep needed. He listened carefully to our concerns, worked with us to stay within our budget, and recommended the best repair options for our situation. His honesty, professionalism, and willingness to help made the entire experience a positive one. We'll definitely be back for future service and would gladly recommend this shop to others.

I was on a road trip from the west coast and my check engine light came on. I popped in here because I’ve heard great things from my friends in town, and I totally understand why. Even though they had a super full schedule they got me in …

Ken is the most kind, generous, and devoted mechanic I’ve ever encountered. He and his techs diagnosed and fixed multiple issues with my 1991 Sunrader while I was stranded in Denver in the middle of a roadtrip. Ken bent over backwards to stay in contact with me, worked on it in the evenings to get the problem addressed before the weekend, and all the while was incredibly friendly, funny, and transparent with his approach to diagnosing the issues with my fuel pump and igniter. The man is a magician, and one of those angels that you meet during your travels that restores your faith in humanity. I would take literally any car to this shop and have full confidence that they would fix it quickly at a fair price, and I would recommend anyone within a hundred miles of Denver that this is the shop to take your car to, especially if is older, finicky, whimsically flawed, or the sort of vehicle that, while getting compliments from a niche of enthusiasts, is older than you are.
