Community Health Care Hilltop Family Dental Clinic

I was so pleased with everything today that I felt it was really important to leave a good review. I had a dental cleaning today. My dental hygienist today was Shaylee. She did SUCH a great job. My cleaning was painless. It wasn't even uncomfortable. I know This is a direct reflection of the person cleaning my teeth. I didn't think I could have so much fun at a dental appointment. Not only is she really good at cleaning teeth, I felt so relaxed and comfortable because we were talking and laughing. My teeth feel super clean and I even got a free toothbrush, toothpaste and floss. The toothbrushes are really nice. I will definitely use what I was given today. I'm very grateful. Thanks Shaylee!! The dentist here are wonderful too. I have seen both Dr. Brandon and Dr. Porter and both are great at their job. Dr. Brandon is so much fun. His humor puts you at ease. Dr. Porter is so easy to talk to. I don't feel judged for being honest. I have extreme dry mouth from some of the medications I take. He introduced me to a medication that helps with saliva production. I was going to have to stop taking my medicine as a results of the dry mouth being so bad and causing dental issues. With this medicine I was able to stay on all my medications. Parking is ample. I've never had a problem finding a spot even when it is at its busiest. There is a free parking garage across the alley from the entrance. It's on a one-way street so you will want to take a left on 13th Then a right onto the one-way Street. The parking garage on your right. Just before the stop sign. There are many handicap parking spots, not just on the first their floor. If the spots are taken on the first floor, go to the second floor where they have more parking next to the elevators. There are elevators that will take you up and down the parking garage. The entire place is guarded by a security guard. The security guards are Always so nice. They make me feel safe. In between guarding the front door, they canvas the parking garage itself. I feel very safe here. Thanks you guys. I'm so grateful for every last provider here. Keep up the amazing work.

The dentists are absolutely lovely and so is most of the staff in the doctors area too but Dr. Desai is like genuinely awful at this, he's very nice but he just didn't listen to me at all at the appointment I had with him. I said I wanted to talk about getting a service dog for my disability, he said thats cool, and then gave me a note for an ESA, which is very different from what I asked. I asked him for xulane birth control, he gave me twirla and not just that he prescribed one my insurance didn't cover at all AND took over 2 weeks to approve it in the first place even after I had called a week after my appointment to ask when it would be approved. I just canceled everything with them and switched my PCP because of this. Like I said all the staff and dentists are amazing EXCEPT for Dr. Desai, he needs to learn to listen and actually do what patients want, not what he decides they get. I also wasn't told there would be all these differences in what I asked and I had to find out a few weeks later, I'm very unhappy with his care. Usually I wouldn't be so upset with a doctor for a mistake but this seems deliberate, just make sure he isn't your doctor, especially if you are a woman.

I had a tooth break, came in and was told it needed extraction and that it had a infection. Made a appt which was a 5 weeks away but was told don't worry we will get you in when there is a cancelation and they gave me a antibotic. I took the antibotic but it made me very sick and was unable to continuing taking it. So I call up the clinic and I tell them what has happened they say come in for a emergency appt. I get there and they tell me they don't do emergency procedures and who ever told me that was wrong. I asked them if they could do the extraction today anyways since the tooth is infected and I can't take antibiotics and my appt wasn't for another month. THEY REFUSED. They didn't care anything about me at all. The front desk was so incredibly rude. A tooth infection is a very serious thing and should never be left untreated. It could even lead to death! But they could care less at this clinic what happens to you. This clinic is banking on peoples ignorance to get anyways with stuff like this. I will never return to this office. And others should stay away too because they really don't care about people!

The Hilltop Location is literally the best place i have ever been to as far as the care goes. i had 5 teeth pulled and literally had zero pain from getting the injections, teeth being pulled and 3 days later into the healing process. ive had extractions once before and it was much worse the last time. i cant reccomend this place enough. the way the do things in stages to make the process almost completely pain free was much appreciated on my end. Also was done quickly. didnt have to wait more than a few days to get in and have my teeth pulled.

I am so pleased with my experience with this dentist. Today I had my first Dental cleaning in years, and Kenny was phenomenal. He clearly communicated each step of the process, he took his time and was very thorough to ensure my teeth were very clean and tartar free. I highly recommend this office, each and every staff member I've encountered has been so pleasant and professional. They're so patient and understanding with anxious folks and I'm very grateful for their expert care.
