I found it concerning that the salon doesn’t appear to provide a written copy of its cancellation, rescheduling, and deposit policies before booking. It was surprising to learn afterward that appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged 50% of the service cost, less than 24 hours or same-day cancellations are charged 100%, and deposits are both non-refundable and non-transferable. If you have to reschedule twice, you lose your deposit and must pay a new one. Policies this strict should be clearly presented in writing upfront, especially for new clients, so clients can make an informed decision before booking. The pricing is also the highest I’ve encountered in Denver—even compared with Cherry Creek salons. For comparison, a full color from roots to ends at many high-end salons costs around $150-200, yet at Craft Collective they charge $300! The color turned out good, but not exceptional. The haircut, however, was underwhelming. Within a week, I visited two different salons for blowouts, and both stylists independently commented that my hair looked like it needed a trim. I agreed. The cut didn’t make my hair feel refreshed or polished, which was disappointing given the $150 price tag. Another drawback was the atmosphere. The salon was extremely loud—probably the noisiest salon I’ve visited in Denver. Between the loud music and multiple conversations happening at once, it was difficult to have a conversation with my stylist. Finally, the last thing they fail to disclose is 3% card charge. In this economy, it is vital to be transparent when client calls over the phone, so they can budget accordingly. Overall, the experience didn’t match the premium pricing, and I’m not sure I’ll be returning.

OBSESSED with this salon! I’ve seen Alivia quite a few times now and she never ceases to amaze me. She is thoughtful and does beautiful work. Alivia is so knowledgeable and I learn something new with each visit. Maple the salon dog is a great perk too ☺️
