I went to Creations Salon feeling rather optimistic after reading several 5 star reviews. I moved here from Chicago to look for a new stylist. Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience here at all. I had an appointment reserved for myself at 1pm. My stylist was Rachel. I wanted to do a balayage type hair color dark at the top & fading into blonde towards the bottom. I had plenty of hair to achieve this look. Long story short, she over-processed my hair with bleach. MY HAIR STARTING FALLING OUT like from a nightmare. My hair is still falling out a month later. When I showed her this she panicked & her voice started cracking & walked toward the backroom with a glob of my hair holding back tears. She was taking client after client after client while my hair was cooking essentially. As far as I remember she took 4 or 5 clients while working on me. Some of them had a full highlight, others had a touch up. I was waiting there observing everything happening. I came in at 1pm & didn't leave her salon until 8:15pm. I was at my wits end. She completely minimized the situation acting as if nothing happened & told me "this is what happens with blonde hair." In my mind I was like no it doesn't. I've been going to hair salons for 20 years & nothing like this ever happened to me before. Not only that she further damaged my hair by brushing through it, blowdrying my hair & heat styling it. She was trying to cover up how bad she messed up my hair by facing me away from the mirror. My hair was falling out as she was brushing it. Not only this but she charged me $670!!!! When I first asked her about the price she said $400 & I agreed then she quickly switched it to $670. She definitely sized me up. Where did this price jump come from? This is not a hair salon in downtown Houston where she would be charging this type of price. I was absolutely appalled with the service here & would urge new customers to find a different salon to go to. Not only that but she refused to refund me my money. She said salons usually charge more for this type of service. I'm like YEA they probably do if they actually do it right. Not only this but I am 4 months post partum from pregnancy & simply wanted to get my hair done & feel good. The exact opposite happened & I'm still dealing with the consequences of this "service" until now. All of this is happening before the holidays. Just horrible. She did however say she will fix my hair & I was like.... you messed up my hair. How can you fix it? I did not trust her to "fix" my hair anymore. I had beautiful long, thick brunette hair when I came in. Now my hair is stringy, dry, falling out & lifeless & have a terrible bleach blonde color with no dimension.

First time in this salon and booked with Kelly. What a phenomenal experience!! Hands down the best shampoo and head massage in my life!! I gave her a reference picture and inspiration photos on color and she delivered!! They now have a customer for life! Before (red) after (perfect summer Bob)

I love love love Rachel 🤍! she did such an amazing job transforming my hair into this ! She was very kind and sweet and a clean and relaxing environment. Definitely 100% will be returning!

My first time at Creations and it was a fantastic experience! I walked in without an appointment and Kelly helped me right away. The scalp massage was incredibly relaxing. Best hair wash I’ve ever received! I showed her some pictures we discussed what I wanted. She cut my hair, gave me bangs, and styled my hair beautifully! I will definitely be back. What a gem right in my neighborhood backyard.
