Sign in to reviewOrdered the omelet curry with chicken and vegetables around 4pm on a weekday via doordash. Everything tastes pretty good. The curry is very authentic, almost Southeast Asian, with potatoes and onions and carrots. Loved it. The omelet came filled with rice which was pretty unique. Had it with bread/naan/rice and all felt great. Doordash pickup is next door to the actual restaurant. They pack the food in a very nice study box. No problem driving close to 10 miles with it in the car. Very pleasantly aromatic food. Went again in October, again around 4pm on a weekday to pickup 3 curries I had ordered via doordash. This was a pre-scheduled pickup and everything was ready on time. Foods were all delicious. I had the stewed chicken curry with added vegetables, and it was just so good! Their takeout container is also so nice - I end up not being able to throw those away. My friends had the okra/tofu and the veggie curry, and were also very happy.
I really like their omelette rice. Would recommend it to anyone. Actually I tried coco in Japan, it tastes more like instant ramen quality version of curry but it definitely tastes better in the U.S. Being a little bit greedy, for the price, I wish the cutlet is bigger. It’s my third time coming back and like their chicken katsu egg omelette.
Went on a Friday night around 930 - very busy. Better to use online waitlist if possible. We got there and had to write our name down on the paper because the online waitlist was closed. 12 parties ahead of us and we waited about 40 minutes. Parking around that time was also very busy - parked on the far end of the lot, with only a few spaces open. That said, the staff was friendly and helpful. Hostess was great - made sure we knew how many parties ahead of us, asked if we wanted a booth or table and joked around with the kids. Helped pass the long wait time. We got the big booth in the back, probably large enough for 6-8 adults. Only drawback was the back door was open and a cold breeze could be felt in the booth. Hostess closed the door, but then it was opened again. Maybe for the kitchen staff? Food was as expected - lowkey and like home. Nothing fancy and we don’t get the “nice” stuff - curry with pork cutlet is our go to. The curry is nice and a touch spicy even at “regular” level. You can pay more for higher spice levels if desired. You can also get larger portions of rice for a little bit extra. If you’re looking for volume, the large is quite large. We ended up taking the extra home. The fries were excellent last night - well seasoned with a crispy exterior and nice taste. Maybe it’s because it’s the same oil as the cutlets? Would go back for a simple meal and will likely use the online waitlist.
Simple and delicious. They specialize in curry and it shows. You can customize it with different add ons, and even adjust how much rice. The seating is a bit crammed for the 2 person tables but the staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is great and very filling.
I love this place. I went for the first time ever all the way from Florida. And Allison made my experience a 10/10. She was patient, helpful, understanding, and made sure I was confident with my order since it was my first time. She made sure my food and experience was perfect. I’ll definitely come back
