I've enjoyed shopping here in the past, which is why I'm disappointed to write this review. During my visit today, I felt uncomfortable because it seemed like an associate was closely monitoring me while I shopped. I was carrying my own reusable bags and only a few items in plain view. I was about to check out when the associate approached me with a basket. I refused because I was literally about to check out. While this may have been intended as customer service, the overall interaction left me feeling weird, and I ultimately decided not to complete my purchase. I've had positive experiences here before, so I'm hoping this was an isolated incident.
Good location with plenty of parking. Great customer service. I was surprised to see a self-checkout counter for cards only. They don't charge extra if you card purchase is less than $5, which is very nice. The store is fully stocked and has lots of mini departments (kitchen, stationary, cleaning, etc).
Finally a nearby Daiso!!!! We went to the second opening day on Sunday, May 28, 2023. We arrived at 9:20am for the 10am opening and there were already 50 people in line. The line grew very quickly after 9:30- 9:45am. Store was clean and well organized and staff was polite and friendly. We got a nice goodie bag of swag for being there during the opening weekend. (Goodie bags are limited to the first 100 customers that spend $30 before tax. While in line waiting we were given Milkita candy. I can't wait to go back and do more shopping when it's less crowded.
I always enjoy shopping here, they have new inventory seasonally and the employees are helpful and chill.
Must try: soft bread and cold beverages near cashier counter! I just don't like the way they mix products made in USA with made in Japan! Nobody goes to this store to buy goods from USA. Cashier is friendly, store is clean.
