This place is a gem when it comes to the noodle houses in Orange County, hidden in a small plaza next to Hmart. They use high quality fresh ingredients in their noodles and the restaurant is very clean, I'm surprised not many people know about this place as they definitely deserve their recognition for excellence.

I love egg noodles either dry or soup. My favorite place to go for that is Dakao. Their dry noodle oyster sauce is very tasty and their egg noodles cooked just right. It had shrimp, fish balls, pork liver, heart, pork shoulder and beans sprout upon request. Staffs were nice and friendly.

Small place with about 12 tables on Garden Grove Blvd in Koreatown. Parking was easy. We ordered a Mi Xao Thap Cam $16 and a Mi Do Bien $14. The soup is nice, clean, light, flavorful with a hint of mushroom, very good soup. Mi Xao came with pork, shrimp, squid, liver in a very tasty sauce. The noodle was way too chewy, like not cooked through. But I liked the dish and wished it was 50% bigger like Hung My vi. Mi Do Bien was good with that tasty but light, not too thick broth. Young wait staff was way too polite beyond our expectation. This place is a solid noodle house.

Delicious noodle dishes either in soups or dry with soup on the side. The broth is really good too.
