Davis Street Primary Care Clinic is a medical clinic serving people in San Leandro, California, from its location at 3081 Teagarden St, San Leandro, CA 94577. For residents seeking a nearby place for primary-care visits, the clinic offers a local option in San Leandro rather than traveling farther across the East Bay. It is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed Saturday and Sunday, a schedule worth considering when planning care around work, school, and family routines.

The clinic's review feedback presents a varied picture of patient experiences. Several patients describe doctors as thorough, kind, and easy to work with, while others specifically appreciate therapists and the broader range of services referenced in their visits. One reviewer says the team made a first experience comfortable through friendly, welcoming interactions from check-in through the provider visit. Another patient who changed providers for a shorter trip reported that the clinic worked to have them seen quickly. These accounts may be useful to people looking for a local primary care setting where personal communication matters.

At the same time, visitors should approach the clinic with awareness that the available 47 reviews are not uniform, and its listed rating is 2.2 out of 5. Some reviewers report concerns about long waits after checking in or feeling dismissed when trying to reach clinical staff by phone about serious symptoms. Because timeliness and communication can be especially important in a medical setting, patients may want to confirm appointment details, ask how urgent questions are handled, and allow appropriate time for an in-person visit. This balanced feedback gives prospective patients practical context.

With weekday daytime hours and a San Leandro address, Davis Street Primary Care Clinic can be a practical consideration for individuals and families whose schedules allow Monday-to-Friday appointments. It may suit patients who value nearby primary care, want to establish or switch providers closer to home, or are seeking a clinic where doctors, therapists, and front-desk interactions have been noted in reviews. The best fit will depend on each patient's care needs and preferred communication experience.

Before selecting a new medical provider, it can help to use the address, weekday schedule, and patient feedback as starting points for deciding whether this San Leandro clinic fits your routine. Consider bringing insurance information and any relevant questions to a scheduled visit, as one first-visit review described standard check-in forms and providing identification and insurance details. By combining practical preparation with awareness of the mixed reviews, prospective patients can make a more informed choice about Davis Street Primary Care Clinic in San Leandro, CA.

I'm glad I switched providers. Not because I disliked my previous provider who was awesome and kind but Fremont was just too far away. Davis Street clinic turns out to also be a great place to get services and they will do their best to get you seen right away. I had an appointment for the 29th and was out on a wait list. However, I received a call for an opening for the 1st and had my appointment a month early! Also I was able to get my needs met on the same day scheduling appointments for 3 different services. Thank you Davis Street!

I called with severe lower abdominal pain and asked to speak with a doctor or gynecologist urgently. Julie handled the call in the most dismissive and unprofessional way possible. Her response was basically that everyone was “busy at the moment.” A patient calling in severe pain should not be treated like an annoying interruption to Julie’s day. If she cannot properly handle urgent medical calls or escalate them, she should not be the person answering the phone in a medical office. This is not a salon or a restaurant. This is healthcare. “Everyone is busy” is not an acceptable response when a patient is asking for urgent medical help. Completely careless, cold, and unacceptable. Under California Timely Access to Care standards, patients with urgent medical concerns are supposed to receive timely access to care and proper guidance. A patient calling with severe lower abdominal pain and heavy bleeding should be triaged, escalated, or directed to immediate care. “Everyone is busy at the moment” is not proper urgent patient care. That response does not guide the patient, does not escalate the concern, and does not provide any safe next step. I will be filing a formal complaint regarding Julie’s handling of this urgent call and the office’s failure to properly respond to urgent symptoms.

Incredible doctors, therapists and overall services. Some of the most thorough doctors I've had in my life. So kind and easy to get an appointment. I appreciate them so much!

Went in for my first appointment, reported to front desk provided my ID and insurance information, was given the standard medical forms to complete and was told to go have a seat and wait until my name was called. Well, 75 minutes later and my name is still not called but I thought I'd have a little more patience considering the establishment. 90 minutes my name is still not called so I go up to the receptionist and they check to see what is going on as I see their faces and whispers between each other I knew it was no good news. The receptionist who initially greeted me, never checked me into the system as present, so all that time I went unnoticed as a No-Show Now I understand bee stings can happen and I'm a pretty reasonable person but I got sent home that day without seeing a doctor. It was a a waste of my time and money too! I don't get paid for hours missed at work so add a loss of 4 hours of income included. Found a new place to go to and much better treatment.
