Davo’s Auto Repair & Service is an auto repair shop serving drivers in Austin, TX, from its location at 810 Justin Ln in the 78752 area. For local vehicle owners looking for a neighborhood repair option, the shop is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Its 4.5-star rating from 62 reviews gives prospective customers useful context while they compare auto repair shops in Austin.

Customer feedback points to a range of diagnostic and repair needs handled at Davo’s Auto Repair & Service. Reviews mention work involving a Ford F-150 that would not start and had fuel-tank-related concerns, oil leaks on a Honda CR-V, coolant leaks, sensor issues, air conditioning that was not blowing cold, and inner tie rod concerns. That variety may make the shop worth considering when a vehicle has a problem that needs careful troubleshooting rather than a one-size-fits-all answer.

Several customers describe kind interactions, quick problem identification, and communication they experienced as transparent. One reviewer noted that their air conditioning was working better after service, while another appreciated the team’s effort to have a vehicle ready in its best condition at pickup. For Austin drivers managing a busy weekday schedule, the Saturday hours can also be useful. Calling ahead can help confirm availability, discuss the vehicle’s symptoms, and clarify timing before bringing a car in.

As with any repair decision, it is sensible to ask clear questions about the diagnosis, recommended work, parts, pricing, and warranty or follow-up process. The available reviews include both positive experiences and concerns about repair outcomes and communication, so direct discussion is especially valuable for establishing expectations. Davo’s Auto Repair & Service may be a practical local choice for Austin residents seeking help with issues such as leaks, starting trouble, A/C performance, sensors, or suspension-related concerns. Bring along any relevant service history and describe when the problem occurs to support a more informed visit.

I had a very disappointing experience with Davo’s Auto Repair. I brought my car in for a coolant leak and was charged almost $1,000 for the repair. Less than a week later, the coolant started leaking again, this time even faster. When I contacted the shop, instead of taking responsibility, they tried to suggest it was somehow my fault for “rushing” them. A good repair shop should stand by their work and prioritize customer safety. Unfortunately, I felt dismissed and not taken seriously. As well as having to take many unnecessary Ubers because my car was finished and they didn’t leave me a voicemail, and closed their shop early. Will NOT be a returning customer.

Davis auto shop has fixed my 2001 ford f150 and my Honda CR-V 2007, they both had different problems and he was able to figure it out quick (ford wasn't starting/fuel tank probs, crv had oil leaks). There team is transparent and they will make sure your car is at its best when picked up. Angel has done a great job running his shop with his family and can be fully trusted please go and support them!

They are amazing and very kind!! I had a sensor and air conditioner not blowing cold air. I called on a Thursday, took my car in on a Friday, and picked up my car on a Saturday. Great service and my air is working better than it was before it messed up!! Highly recommended!!

HORRIBLE….wish I got the service everyone on the reviews is given. I’m in town working an my car broke down. Called this place cause of reviews an it’s down the street from where I’m staying. I called to see if they had there own tow, dude said yea tow driver doesn’t even know them. I told the guy what was wrong with the car an what I thought. I told him my situation that I’m in working from out of town, a guy took advantage of situation. Next day I get a quote of 7400 for a transmission rebuild. Crazy, I know. I told him no, then quoted me for the diagnostic 140$ then tell me that I need to come a get my car cause he has no room if that are not working on cars. That they would charge me storage fees of 75$ I told them they are picking up car Monday ,this is Friday late afternoon. Better yet my car is no where near there the shop it in the back where not one car is at . Crazy experience. I wish reviews were true. End up towing back to Houston n paying 1/3 of what he quoted .

This morning I got my inner tie rods changed in another mechanic shop in SA and drove to Austin to get an alignment at “tires to you” since the alignment machine was down in SA and they told me the tie rods were loose and we couldnt get an alignment that we arrived safely out of luck and we were so upset we were done dirty and they recommended us this mechanic shop to get them tightened and they did an awesome job! they tightened them without complaining and helped us quickly they were very polite I recommend them 11/10 especially the young man that helped us named Angel Thank you!!
