My partner was diagnosed with ALS five years ago. We have had other caregivers in the past that were more of what I would describe as a “sitter”. Someone that can do the basics like shower, bathroom and warm up meals, but basically “sit” We abruptly lost our latest caregiver recently due to health reasons. Somehow, by the grace of god we found Day Spring. The CEO Nathaniel came to our house for an evaluation, and took us on as a client shortly thereafter. What a difference in service!! This company specializes in ALS patients, and are extremely well versed in all the equipment, treatments, diet plans and daily needs of someone with the disease. They work with the patient throughout the day and keep them active, take them to appointments and coach them on how to stay healthier.
