Overall it was a fun experience, but not everything was a winner. Here is our collective review, from worst to best. In advance we ordered the April Seasonal Cupcakes: Triple Coconut Mousse, Pistachio Butter and Raspberry Jam (PB&J), and Chocolate Salted Caramel. I have to admit, these were the driest and most crumbly cupcakes I’ve ever had, they literally fell apart. No exaggeration. Even tiny amounts could not sit on top of the fork tines. Had to use our fingers to scoop/hold the crumbs to get enough to our mouths to taste them. Needless to say (though I’m still saying it), we were EXTREMELY disappointed, especially since no one in our group wanted more than a tiny sample of each flavor. And at $75 for the dozen, we’re left with 3.5 cupcakes X 3 flavors, for a total 9+ cupcakes. Really, what do we do with them now? Kind of shocking given the price and reputation. Of the three cupcakes, the group’s favorite flavor was the PB&J, even though it was too dry and crumbly. On to our review of the cake slices… We ordered three flavors: London Fog, Banana Caramel, and Carrot Pineapple. Compared to the cupcakes, the cake slices were excellent. Extremely moist, heavy but not dense, and beautiful. Starting with our least favorite, the London Fog was ho hum from a flavor perspective. But to our surprise did have a refreshing hint of lemon. No need for this group to order this again, but we would eat it if served at a party. Hands down, our two favorite flavors were the Banana Caramel and the Carrot Pineapple. Wonderful flavors, super moist, and great textures. Overall, while we’re glad for the group experience and chance to try all the flavors, it was underwhelming and expensive at $110 plus tax and tip. Next time we will only get cake slices to try and share. Not sure I’d risk getting a whole cake since one we had was ho hum from a flavor perspective. And definitely will NOT buy their cupcakes again. Almost forgot to mention that the people in line and behind the counter were all wonderful. A very social and community oriented experience in the shop.

I called to inquire of a cake yesterday. From the phone call to pick up was seamless. Parking is a little tricky but I was in and out. I was recommended the dark chocolate caramel cake and it was probably one of the best I had, hands down. Thanks to Kim for helping me, friendly and great customer service. She put on the caramel for me so I didn't have to mess it up at home. Protect her at all cost. Will definitely be back.

We ordered our wedding cakes from this cake shop and they were OUTSTANDING! We had a morning wedding (10:30am) and the shop was very accommodating by having our cakes ready for pick up extra early that same morning. They even made us super cute little flavor signs for our cakes! They tasted amazing and I could not recommend enough!

The cake was good, but for $11 I definitely expected a larger piece. It’s very good but not worth the cost, this is my second time coming and I was trying a new flavor (funfetti). They also soak the cake in some sort of almond flavored …

I wanted a small cake for my wedding since it wasn’t going to be the main focus of our dessert. I reached out a few weeks in advance, and the team was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the process. We got the smaller size and opted in to add gold leaf and florals. While the guidance was fairly open-ended, they asked for photos of my wedding florals for inspiration. They did an amazing job matching the colors and style perfectly. The cake itself was moist, delicious, and exactly what we were hoping for. It looked beautiful and tasted even better!
