I came to Dr. Lee after years with a Dr who missed a lot of issues that developed into infections and bigger problems. Dr Lee went above and beyond to not only save my teeth, but to thoroughly explain all the treatment options. I get really nervous about all the procedures, and he made sure I felt comfortable during the entire visit. I feel like he truly cares about his patients so much that now I bring all my kids here as well! If you’re someone who gets nervous about dental visits, this is hands down the best dental experience I’ve had. I’m so grateful to have found this practice, the staff is so friendly, the office is organized and clean so yes I would highly recommend this dental office to anyone looking for exceptional dental care!
I wish there was an option for ZERO stars because this office doesn’t even deserve one. The front desk staff clearly has no idea how to properly handle patients, only how to overcharge them. I had already confirmed with my insurance that my copay for treatment was $1,000 (the front desk staff was even on the phone with my insurance at the time). Yet the very next day, they charged me $1,800 for two root canals—completely inconsistent with my dental fee schedule. I had to call my insurance again to confirm, and sure enough, I was right—they overcharged me. Imagine what happens to seniors who don’t know how to question this process. They would simply get charged whatever the office feels like charging. On top of that, the dental work itself caused significant damage. They went too deep during both root canals, leaving me with serious ongoing issues. When I raised my concerns, the office told me they weren’t responsible. I’ve never had a problem with my root canals until now. To make matters worse, I tried calling the office about five times asking to speak directly with the doctor. Every time, I was told the doctor was “busy” and would call me back—yet no call ever came. One time, when I called during lunch, they told me the doctor had gone out to eat. Meanwhile, I couldn’t even eat properly because of the pain in my teeth. What kind of dentist treats patients this way? Unless you truly have no other options in Irvine, CA, stay away from this office. There are plenty of other dentists in the area who are honest and competent.

Dr. Lee's Dental Care of Irvine is amazing. I have to admit the first time I walked into this office I was scared to death because I hate needles, and I had several cavities that needed to be addressed after my braces came off. Dr. Lee took exceptional care to make me feel comfortable and now when I am home from college, I make sure to make an appointment to check that everything is ok because I won’t go anywhere else!
