So, I knew the place must be totally legit for baking supplies. Super stoked to have found out about this place. As an avid home baker, I was like a giddy little kid in a candy store.
Idiot driver taking up multiple parking spaces at a wholesaler near the front of the business. At least park in the back where you’re inconveniencing everyone else …
I don't want to roast a company that does good work, but please encourage your drivers to slow down and not cut off other drivers in traffic. One of them almost caused an accident earlier today on the 5. He cut off a truck towing a trailer which almost couldn't stop in time and almost rear ended your vehicle.
I ordered a tote of product from them that they said would be the same as the drum that I ordered and the 5 gallon pail that I ordered. The truck showed up and I wanted them to take it back for a different reason. (We needed 2 pallets under the tote they put one. So it's easier to fill our buckets with) their truck couldnt even lift the tote back onto the truck I was so worried about that issue that I didnt even double check the product itself. When I called and made them aware i was told they would tell jeff. But nothing ever happened with it. Dont get screwed like me double check everything they send you.. when it was lakeside bakery supplies was so much better.
This quarantine has made me have an urge to bake. However I am trying to avoid the grocery stores and it is hard to get flour and yeast since I want to experiment with bread. I first discovered Diego Desserts around my neighborhood. Geoff Was extremely pleasant and even took the time to explain all the different types of flours and chocolate chips to me even though he was super busy. His prices are extremely reasonable and my husband and I have been able to make our own artisan bread, cookies etc. he even sells cheesecakes that are around $20 that my dad loves as well as pre-made cookies that you just pop in the oven but he’s taste homemade shhh . I will definitely be coming back for many of my baking needs
