Sign in to reviewI had a very disappointing experience at Ding Tea today. The staff gave my food to another customer by mistake. What upset me wasn’t just the error itself, but how it was handled. When I asked about my order, I was simply told to wait longer. There was no apology and no sense of accountability from the staff. I understand that mistakes can happen, but customer service and attitude matter. A simple apology and clear communication would have made a big difference. I hope the store improves its service and staff training so other customers don’t have the same experience.
We come here all the time and LOVE the boba. Today was not the case. We left with good fresh boba, but literal water that's colored purple rather than taro milk tea. We went back in to let them know, and the lady remade the drinks for us. When I tried it, I did just to make sure the taro milk was good because we expected the boba to be fresh (it always is). The taro milk tasted better so we accepted and left. But now, the Boba is HARD, and not fresh at all. We are very disappointed because we come here often and always get the best milk tea drink with fresh Boba. Maybe the person is new, I don't really know, but the boba and milk tea should be consistent. So 5 stars went down to 2.
The service was exceptional. I wish I had more to hands so that I could give it 4 thumbs up! Keep up the great work.
First time here. Compared to the Costa Mesa they charge for no ice .75 cents, maybe just give less tea. For two large drinks it came out to $18 instead of my usual $14. Only reason we came here was they close late at 11pm.
Tried another boba place close to Disneyland. Got the popcorn chicken, lychee slushie, and the brown sugar milk boba. Pretty busy and had to wait for the chicken but at least it was fresh. I felt like the chicken could been more seasoned as I didn't care for the dipping sauce. Drinks were what we expected.
