Sign in to reviewI couldn’t come visit ATX with my pup and not check out Dog Day Coffee. So, we came here on a chill Sunday morning, I enjoyed a latte with oat milk which I found a little too mild and she got a whipped cream treat. The atmosphere was nice, just like the service. So yeah not the most spectacular coffee, but a good pace to hang out in. Cheers.
I am a nitro cold brew snob and go out of my way to get a nitro from a local joint. When we came to Austin for a long weekend from Denver, I was blown away with the quality of their nitro and loved the atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and I’m still over here daydreaming about the next time I can get some dog day coffee. We tried the Imperial and the house and really enjoyed both, but have to say the house was a favorite. Can’t rave about this place enough. Thank you Dog Day. 🫶🏻
Lovely quiet coffee spot with an industrial aesthetic. Plenty of outlets to plug in your computer. Also has some gluten free pastry options I have not tried. Typically order a dairy free matcha. Just tried the matcha nitro with pistachio milk, no notes. Aesthetic + alternative caffeine sources 👌🏽🤌🏼
I absolutely adore Dog Day Coffee. The coffee is delicious and every employee I’ve had the chance to meet is lovely and kind. Their iced latte is my favorite coffee in Austin, and they also just happen to be awesome people. When I order online, they wait to add ice until I arrive. It’s these small things that make a coffee shop a neighborhood staple. If you haven’t had a chance to check this place out, please do! You’ll be glad you did :)
Short visit to Austin. Researched places with nitro cold brew and found Dog Day. Amazing 20oz house nitro cold brew with the perfect amount of a super tasty vanilla cold foam. They bring in pastries, had the best apple danish ever! Perfect balance of background music, coffee being made and relaxing in your own mind. I had some other places to check out, but decided I wanted this again.
