Sign in to reviewI finally got the chance to come try this place out. We got the bouquet which includes the flavors on the menu plus the weekend flavor. Ours included Mango sticky rice, lychee strawberry, ube, Green Thai tea oreo, matcha strawberry, and Vietnamese coffee. All of them were delicious. The mango sticky rice had chunks of mango in it, the lychee strawberry has a delicate flavor, and the matcha strawberry is a perfect blend of matcha flavor and a thick strawberry swirl. The green Thai tea oreo has big chunks of oreo and almost a mint flavor to it, a great combination. My two favorites were the coffee, which was strong and smooth, not overpowering or bitter, and the ube, which was so flavorful and slightly nutty. My six year old said mixing the green Thai tea oreo with the ube is the perfect combination. As someone who enjoys Asian flavors and sweet treats, this place is a breath of fresh air. Good thing they are only open on weekends because my six year old has requested to come back everyday. This will for sure be a summer time favorite for us.
10/10 got the bouquet to try all flavors and let me tell you something , one of the best if not the best yet in SA,TX . Hours are accurate. All the flavors are good . My favorite is the ube and idk the flavor it’s like a light green . But I would pay for all of them … again. Flavors are accurate. The sweetest in my opinion is ube and mango sticky rice and the light green one in the picture . Very safe flavor is the strawberry lychee, if you don’t want too crazy of a flavor then choose this one , it’s very light and perfect for people who want to be on the safe side. If you love Vietnamese coffee —- you should and will like the coffee one. All Asian inspired flavors , so if you like mango sticky rice — you will like that flavor . They will take cash only exactly amount — which I had .. thank gosh . I’ve been waiting to try this for a long time . Found on TikTok .
I got the mango sticky rice flavor. It’s so good I had to leave a review in my car before I left. The Flavor is very unique and fresh tasting and genuinely tasted like the mango sticky rice I’ve had in Thailand. The Owner is also very nice
Genuinely the best ice cream ive ever had!! Im not a huge sweets person but their ice cream is the perfect amount of sweetness in my opinion. The two owners are also very nice!! my bf and I are introverts so we love places that provide straight to the point friendly service. We will forever be repeat customers :) pictured is the mango sticky rice and ube
Let’s start by saying I’m not a huge ice cream girl. I like it, but I rarely finish the whole thing and usually look forward to the waffle cone more than the ice cream itself. I went to Dorp for the first time on May 23 and got the Mango Sticky Rice in a cone. I shared it, and afterwards I could not stop thinking about it. I’m obsessed with mango sticky rice, and their ability to capture that flavor was so impressive. I ended up craving it and have gone back twice since then. The second time, I got the Mango Sticky Rice in a cone again because I wasn’t ready to commit to another flavor and risk regretting it. ( no sharing this time and inhaled the entire thing! ) Yesterday, I finally tried the Green Thai Tea Oreo and sooooo good. Both flavors have been incredible, and now I can’t wait to try the rest. I really feel you can’t go wrong here! For someone who doesn’t normally get excited about ice cream, Dorp has completely won me over. Such a perfect treat. Wishing them so much success, and hopefully one day they’ll open another location a little closer to me because apparently I’m becoming a regular 👏
