Sign in to reviewDuring my cleaning, the hygienist, Domingo Dorazco, flossed my teeth with excessive force, even between teeth with spacing. The floss caused intense pain, snapped, and left a cut between my front teeth, which began bleeding during my drive home. Despite repeatedly telling him it was painful, he did not adjust his technique, insisting he was “going deep,” and blamed my sensitivity, attributing the pain to my own anatomy. I have never experienced a hygienist inflicting this much pain and injury. During polishing, the hygienist held the paste and polisher above my face, causing paste to splatter into my eyes, onto my face, neck, and clothing. Dr. Galang assisted in wiping it off during her cleaning, yet I still had to clean myself afterward. I have never seen a hygienist handle tools in such an unsafe and uncontrolled manner. While Dr. Galang is kind and typically professional, the cleaning itself felt rushed and incomplete. Not all teeth were thoroughly cleaned, and the scaling was minimal. I expressed concern about a dark area I suspected could be a cavity and requested X-rays, even offering to pay out of pocket. These concerns were dismissed; the hygienist cited insurance limitations, and the dentist concluded it was “just a stain” without imaging. After leaving, my front gums throbbed, I spat blood, and I sustained a cut between my front teeth. I was extremely upset and even cried when returning to the office to obtain the hygienist’s information. I will never return and will be reporting this incident. I hope the office reviews patient safety and prioritizes careful, professional technique. I’ve made sure to cancel all future appointments, I am so shocked that it is hard to believe this level of sloppiness and aggression was not intentional on his part for whatever reason.
Both Dr Jane Galang and Dr Andrew Galang are pleasant & kind dentists who I feel lucky to have found. I’ve been coming here for a few years now, and the entire staff is professional & warm, which makes someone who used to fear going to the dentist, feel at ease.
Staff is great but Dr. Jane did a sloppy and rushed job on fixing a cavity. Would not recommend.
I’ve been a patient with Dr. Galang for over a decade. She and all of her staff are the nicest and most caring dental office I've ever been to. I’ll be sad when she finally retires. Hopefully not anytime soon. I will definitely recommend her practice for all your dental needs.
I love Dr. Galang and her staff!!! Great service when you first walk in all the way to when your in the dental chair. Her staff welcomes you with a warm welcome and greets you by your first name is why me and my family come here for years. Been with Dr. Galang since 2002 and was pregnant with my first and only child, Chaz who sees her also and is going on 15 now pretty much tells you just how long I have been with her. My son loves her and so will YOU if you make her your DENTIST😁😁😁
