I have been a patient of Dr. Nguyen's for many years. He and his staff are simply THE BEST! They can usually get you in for a same day appointment, if something unexpected comes up. Excellent customer service from the entire staff. Happy staff = happy patients! They are very prompt with getting refills to your pharmacy. Dr. Nguyen is kind and attentive to his patients. He spends the time to go over all of your labs with you and answer any questions you may have. If you are looking for a primary care physician in Altamonte area, I feel that you would be very pleased. Thank you for ALL that you do! Jeff Thomas

I love this doctor. I kept my insurance with the same company to make sure I could keep coming to Dr, Nguyen. I have been prescribed all the necessary labs and tests including MRI's when necessary. Thanks to his practice my health is better than it was a year ago when I started coming here.

NO STARS !! Honest review of my mother's treatment and a dismissal letter via email for advocating to see a specialist we would like not the one he recommended. My mother started to see Dr. Nguyen about a year ago and the office was nice and clean and seemed to get exactly what we needed on time. Over the last few visits, his attitude changed like we were bothering him by coming to see him for what we needed. He had a very dry personality but to be honest I have experience with other Asian providers. Bedside manner was dry and he was to the point but was a decent provider. Today scheduled a follow-up appointment per his recommendation to discuss his requested lab work, plus needed a referral to another provider. We waited over 30 minutes to be seen which was the longest we had ever waited. Dr. came in and asked, " Why am I seeing you today". Perplexed that he didn't see we had a follow-up appointment per his recommendation was problem number 1. I then let him know it was for a follow-up, to provide him with her PET scan results and get a referral to a specialist recommended by her GI doctor but per insurance, I needed to obtain the referral from the PCP. His response to the specialist was " for what". I explained and then he proceeded to tell me that he would recommend to a provider in his area. Now, if I was asking him for suggestions cool, send me to where you know but we had been recommended by another provider and already had the office appointment set up just needed the referral. It is not uncommon for a patient to come in stating I need to see a provider for this and I have an appointment with this person who was recommended to me and takes my insurance. He refused to give a referral to the provider we requested as he did not know that provider, problem #2 . I mean does he need to know the provider personally or does he recommend providers to get a cutback from them from sending us? IDK never in my life have I had to deal with this, I can only go to the providers he recommends? So then I told him the copy of the pet scan he has is our copy and the office made him a copy for the chart and he said he didn't need it anyways, they didn't copy it and he could get it from the provider if he wanted. Oh ok so now other scans outside your office about your patient don't need to be put on file and you could care less about the results, cool problem #3. He then let us know again he would see her back in 3 months, he would refer her to only his provider, and then WALKED OUT OF THE ROOM INTO THE PATIENT'S ROOM ACROSS THE HALL. Normally he walks you to check out, I guess advocating for yourself is what he does not like. I then asked the person at check out if he was having a bad day, Problem #4. Then to top it off got an email 10 minutes after leaving that my mother was being dismissed from the practice. WELL, sir that was the last time I was going to let your unprofessional self see my mother. NO reason given to the dismissal as well and if standing up for the patient's rights causes you to feel so strongly about not seeing her again sadly sir you are in this for the wrong reasons. As patients, we can see any provider we would like and a referral doesn't mean anything to you. Patient health should be your main concern. DO NOT SEE THIS PROVIDER!!!!!!! His flashy BMW has more personality than his bedside manner does!

I was here to see Dr. Nguyen and he was very, very professional and very thorough with results and ordering test for me. He was very patient and calm and explained everything in a way that I could understand. He also repeated everything he was going to do for me and he also requested great blood pressure machines for me to use. He is so calm it made me feel calm because i was very anxious. I will definitely be seeing him again in the future. The office is very clean and organized the receptionist was very polite.
