Sign in to reviewI saw Dr. Tiean Nguyen about a few years ago. He was rude and in a rush. His office referred me to a different Dr for my surgery, Dr. Farid. The referred Dr was the best and I am thankful for Dr. Farid team.
I just saw this Dr today , a consultation visit. I’ve had 2 back surgeries in the past 2 years.1 disc is fixed then it’s the one above that needs to be fixed I’m in tremendous pain and not sleeping well at all. I explained this to Dr and I got the impression he didn’t care he did a quick exam of legs and feet and was very aggressive about it. Has me lay down which is painful and I have to ask him for a hand up to be vertical. No sense , again this impression I’m in a hurry (the dr) I explain how frustrating this is I don’t have the same insurance, I’m in pain , sleeping issues, no discussion about trying to get me out of pain , let’s order a hip nerve image mri and we will see u later and he left the room The bedside manner of a rock.
Dr N is a brilliant surgeon! 8 years ago I had rods in L5S1 region, everything went well, I’ve been 8 years without a severe back ache! Back to a basic life being a grandmother is awesome! The Dr N did an upgrade/ repair from the first surgery I had 20 yrs ago also from another great surgeon! Doing well!
We had a very good experience with Dr. Tien Nguyen and his office staffs recently. His office staffs are highly efficient. We had an urgent referral. Got appointment in 2 days. We were seen in very quickly on appointment day. Surgery was arranged within a few days. Amy was right on it!! She worked out a schedule for pre op lab and EKG appointment over the weekend. All the staffs replied to my questions with either a call or an email in a timely manner. All were professional. Dr Nguyen is a quiet man which may make him appear rude to some. But he is really talented in what he does. My dad is so grateful that he can now start using his hands again for his own self care. He has advanced from using walker to a cane, all within a few days post op. We are looking forward to even full recovery of all his function. Thank you Dr Tien Nguyen for your talent and efficient staff!!!
My father went through 2 times of surgery with Dr Tien Nguyen. Before each surgery, he always told us with confidence that my father will be able to get up and walk normally. Unfortunately, my father get worse and worse. 4 months after the first surgery, he could not walk. 30 days after 2nd surgery he could not even sit on bed !!!. I called the office dozen time (almost every 2 days for 3 weeks) after 2nd surgery to know what was the reason. He did not return the call at all. Then my father died, because of his irresponsibility and lack of patient care.
