I first met Dr.Batchu at an event called Walk with a Doc and she was very sweet, after participating a second time, I met some people that are patients of hers, Joyce was the main one who told me all about Dr.Batchu and how personal she is as a dr. Today I had my first visit with Dr Batchu and she is very sweet,calm and personal. When I arrived at the clinic there was no patients waiting and when someone came in ,they didn't have to wait long. The office is really clean and if you're a first time patient, there's a screen on the wall that you scan the QR code to complete your forms, very cool. Also, this is something I've never seen before, they give you your own personal portal and key fob,called the Help Hub,( picture below) which allows you online access to schedule appts,ask questions,get refills,etc., technology at its best. Her husband works with her and they are very good together. He also helps with the walk and plans different activities. Dr.Batchu speaks softly and is very knowledgeable. She asks questions about your health and is very caring. I've heard from a patient that Dr helped her get off a lot of medication and she's doing great! I totally recommend Dr.Batchu and also participating in a local walk team, they're in every area of town. Thank you Dr.Batchu for your kindness and care. After fasting labs, they even have a thoughtful coffee and healthy snack bar, which is such a nice touch. Another thing I really appreciate is their exclusive in-house platform called the Patient Help Hub—a seamless tool that lets you request appointments, refills, send secure messages, upload documents, and even get driving directions—all in one place. It’s paired with a modern patient portal and secure texting system, making communication with the clinic incredibly easy and responsive. It’s clear they’ve invested in smart tools that actually make a difference for patients. There was a period when I didn’t have insurance, and I was worried about affording care. Thankfully, the clinic worked with me, and their self-pay pricing was straightforward and truly affordable for everything from labs to consultations and minor procedures. They’re also active in the community. I’ve attended their annual Color Run & Festival with my family—it’s joyful, inclusive, and a wonderful way to bring people together around wellness. I have been going to Dr. Batchu at Internal Medicine of Houston for over five years. She and her staff have always been kind, helpful and worked with my changing schedule. Dr. Batchu listens to what is going on with me health wise and offers advice and options to help treat me as a person and not just the symptoms.
