Sign in to reviewI came in as a walk-in because I got incredibly sick overnight. The skinny lady I spoke with was attentive and tried to help me, but unfortunately there were no appointments left for the day. She asked the bigger lady on her left for assistance, and her response was shockingly unprofessional. She laughed and stated that it was almost time to close and leave. I completely understand that the staff may be tired and eager to go home at the end of the day, but this type of behavior is unacceptable in a family clinic setting. Patients arrive seeking care while unwell and vulnerable, and to be met with laughter and dismissiveness is both unprofessional and disheartening. I left feeling disrespected and hurt by the way I was treated. I would have given this place 0/1 stars but the sweet lady deserves the second star.
I want to call out the receptionist who sits near the corner—on the left when you open the door. Every time you ask her something (very basic), she acts tired, makes it hard to do and refuses to help, telling you to go ask the lady on her left instead. Before doing that, she rolls her eyes, pouts and shows annoyance at your questions. Slow and completely helpless, her attitudes are the worst. If she can’t do her job, she should quit. I don’t understand why she’s even there when she doesn’t know how to do her job and just passes all responsibilities to the other receptionist who is much busier than her. Lady, go find something else to do because you look unhappy all the time! I don't owe you anything but you act like i do! You suck!
Well, there's a reason for this business to be 2.5 stars ...After choosing a Cal-Optima PCP, Appointment has been set up 3 weeks in advance. When the day arrive, I arrived on time ( even 15mn early for paper work). After waiting for an hour, still nothing , asking from the front desk for an explanation : " we are waiting for the doctor....", decided to leave. Anyway, if you need a place where nobody's care, you found it ! 0000 star
This office really needs to work on respecting patient time. I’ve been waiting here over 2 hours just for a blood test, and no one has explained the delay or given an estimate. It’s frustrating and unprofessional. Patients shouldn’t have to lose half their day for a routine appointment.
My family and I have been going to this office for many years, but we're all leaving to find another primary care office. I love my PA Catherine and only have amazing things to say about her, but my family can no longer tolerate the way the office is run under Dr. Nguyen. This office never accepts walk in patients, which is a condition I value in a primary care office because this is the first point of service in receiving care. For example, I was denied a walk in appointment for appendicitis and was told to schedule an appointment in the following week to have my appendix checked out. If I had listened to the staff and waited a week to receive care from this office, then my appendix would have burst already. The office staff did not recommend me to go to the emergency room, which I had to do and received emergency surgery. They also continuously hung up during my call regarding my appendicitis and said "Listen, I'm busy okay?" Furthermore, when we request to receive a copy of labwork results, the office staff denies the request and says we need to make an appointment in 2 weeks for a record release, even though we saw the doctor that day regarding labwork results. They are extremely rude when we ask for a simple request. The list goes on, but I will stop here and just say that if you are looking for a primary care office that will prioritize your health, this is not the place to go.
