Sign in to reviewFantastic place. A friend recommended them to us and I’m really glad we switched. Everyone is so kind and they always take great care of my family. I’d especially recommend them if your kids get nervous about going to the dentist — they’re very patient and make it a good experience. The playroom is also a huge plus for the kids.
The people at the front desk and individuals cleaning my daughter’s teeth were so nice and friendly. However, once a cavity was found we learned that if we had it filled through their office, only $150 would be covered by insurance and $400+ would need to be paid out of pocket. We have great insurance and a filling at another dentist office would be fully covered with no extra charge. I’m not sure what they’re trying to upcharge, but we won’t be returning even though our first interactions were so great and pleasant.
I had my retainer checked to make sure it fit well. (I recently finished with braces) Everyone is so nice! Dr. A is one of the kindest dentists you’ll ever meet. Very caring and thorough as well.

EAST COUNTY FAMILY DENTISTRY #1 ( : I highly recommend East County Family Dentistry I recently moved to Santee I needed a dentist it's been awhille.. my front teeth were in need of a root canal I have county insurance (denti-cal) Only approved one tooth (8 or 9) for the crown the dentist got creative with the assistant they did a wonderful job I'm so happy with the outcome .. they molded create ia (temporary crown) "tooth" can't even tell I loved how picky the assistant was a molding filing the purpose to perfection a temporary. I can't wait for the permanent one! The assistant is an artist—a real Picasso! I absolutely love the receptionist she's very cool she's perfect for the job makes you feel welcome it's like a big family. They are open five days a week, accepting Medi-Cal on Fridays, providing high-quality care, treating you wonderfully no matter your insurance. want to smile big make an appointment they'll take care of you 😁
