El Gaucho Tacoma

We had a wonderful time at El Gaucho to celebrate our anniversary. Filet was cooked perfectly. Custom menu with our names on it was a nice touch - as was the table card. I opted to buy some flowers for the table - they looked great. The bananas Foster flambé was the best; and we both really enjoyed the tableside Caesar salad also. Server was attentive, personable and helpful. We will certainly be back! Best restaurant for a special occasion in Tacoma for sure.

We arrived around 530pm on Father’s Day Sunday. No reservations, but we’re able to eat at the bar. Met several bar tenders who were very nice and friendly. Travis took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed even though he was busy making drinks. We had a great anniversary, drinks were strong, food was delicious. Filet mignon, brussels, Mac and cheese, and 2 desserts later we are FULL. There was not a single dish I didn’t like. So good. 10/10

This is fine dinning woth the most exceptional service. Our server Kessa was so polite and helped make our birthday experience above and beyond. The pork belly was amazing. The baked potato, sautéed mushrooms, and steak el gaucho was divine. It was well worth every penny. Words can not describe the quality, presentation and service. Every thing was so very clean and atmospheric. A great date and fine dinning birthday celebration. They gave a complimentary cheese and fruit plate before dessert, and the creme brulee was exquisite and not too sweet or much at all. Just simply put, practically perfect in every way. The restaurant had beautiful warm lighting and live music! Highly recommend for the price point and expierence.

Honestly, there are no negatives to this beautiful place. From the moment you walk into the stunning entrance you are treated like royalty. I had some food allergies and they bent over backwards to ensure my meal was safe. They made my 11 year old feel welcomed and special. The food was fresh, creative and delicious. Great drink menu for alcohol and mocktails. Best dining experience we have had in the South Sound. We plan to come back for our Christmas Eve dinner. Outstanding place.

Absolutely love coming here more than any of their other locations. The staff is always so welcoming, attention to detail is on another level. Being a member has its perks and it’s my go to place for any occasion. The food is always delicious and the drinks are on point.
