El Montes

El Montes is an auto repair shop at 5890 Washington St Unit 5 in Denver, Colorado. It works on cars and trucks, with customer reviews describing jobs that range from smaller repairs to larger projects. For drivers looking for a local mechanic in Denver, the shop’s feedback points to hands-on repair work, including truck suspension service and help diagnosing a vehicle that starts running rough. The shop has a 4.5-star rating across 20 reviews, reflecting a generally positive overall score alongside differing individual experiences.

Suspension work is one of the specific services mentioned by customers. One first-time visitor said the team did a wonderful job on their truck’s suspension and described the price as reasonable and the service as friendly. Other reviewers mention bringing in vehicles for both small and major mechanical jobs over multiple years. These accounts suggest El Montes may suit drivers seeking help with a range of repair needs, though the right service and price depend on the vehicle and the issue. Contact the shop to discuss the symptoms and confirm what work it can take on.

The reviews also describe diagnostic help. A traveler passing through Denver reported that their car began running rough and that, despite the shop being busy, a mechanic connected it to a diagnostic tool to investigate the problem. Another reviewer praised the mechanic’s knowledge and honesty while discussing repair work on a vehicle. These are individual customer accounts rather than a guarantee of a particular result, but they offer useful context for people deciding where to ask about a car or truck concern.

Customer experiences are not uniformly positive: one reviewer described an unsatisfactory repair and raised concerns about the vehicle’s condition afterward and warranty responsibility. If you are considering El Montes, it may be helpful to discuss the diagnosis, proposed work, expected cost, and any applicable warranty terms before authorizing a repair. Clear communication about the issue and the agreed scope can help you make an informed choice. The combination of positive comments about friendly service and reasonable pricing, alongside a negative account, gives prospective customers a fuller picture than a rating alone.
