Look no further if you're on the search for a Montessori preschool. My husband commutes to Fremont, so we thought it was perfect for our son to attend here. As for the campus, the layout is great. The gated fence around the school is secure with a keypad before the building's main door. Classrooms are well designed to have areas for practical life learning, math, language, etc. The structure of their day is perfect. Plenty of balance between Montessori work sessions, outside play, rest time and circle times. Meals and snacks are balanced with nutrition in mind (especially for our picky kiddo, who suddenly liked corn after school one day). We love when our son brings home his artwork and worksheets. Field trips take place on campus, which is a relief in terms of transportation and safety. One time, they brought the petting zoo there! When there are holiday events, the parents and family are welcome to see their performance for Thanksgiving and Christmas. During summer, they offer a fun variety of themes each week as well as some special days (like a Mad Science Show or Cooking week). Our 4-year-old has improved so much. He can be high energy, but the teachers have a lot of patience and understanding. The biggest factor for us was the Mandarin-immersive program. We immediately signed up for the waitlist. It was well worth it. They incorporate 2 circle times-- one in English and another in Mandarin. They learn songs, numbers, basically all of the basics and our son loves saying everything he's learned when he's back home. For their Chinese New Year celebration, they had an amazing dragon dance and had the children sing in Mandarin. The staff goes above and beyond when it comes to the children's education, safety, wellbeing and happiness at this school. Ms July, the school director, was warm and welcoming, remembering every child's name who ran up to us during our tour. Ms Lori, Ms Lydia and Ms Mia have been guiding our son with incredible care and attention. Our son couldn't pick a favorite, so he named each one. We can't thank everyone enough for their hard work and dedication.

Empire Montessori is a great preschool. Ms. July and all classroom teachers are really nice. My son has been attending Empire Montessori since he was 2. Now he is in Ms. Cindy's class. He is so happy at this place, that every morning he can't wait to go to school. He enjoyed singing and dancing, drawing and cutting at school. The school provides lunches and snacks. It's such a life saver for busy parents. My son enjoyed the school lunch very much.

We love empire! All the teachers are great and we love that it’s bilingual. Ms Cindy does a great job balancing leaning and play. Our toddler loves going to school. Ms July, the director is also very organized and kind. We’ve been in Ms Kari’s class as well and loved her for the younger class. Highly recommend!

My daughter went to Empire for about 6 months in Ms. Kari's 2-3yo class. She loved Ms. Kari and the other teachers in her class. She also made many friends there and learned a lot. One of the most important things she learned was going on the toilet, as well as speaking Mandarin! We were constantly surprised at home when she spoke full sentences in Mandarin to us. We loved the various activities that the school organized for the children, including professional lion dancers coming for Chinese New Year and kids winter holiday performances. I highly recommend Empire Montessori for any family, especially those interested in the dual language immersion aspect. We were sad to leave the school due to moving to another city. My daughter still talks about her teachers. Also thank you Ms. July for always being accommodating and responsive to our needs. She runs the school very well, and most importantly we felt safe bringing our daughter there everyday.

My daughter started at Empire when she was almost 3 and in such a short time at Empire I’ve seen huge growth. She has grown not just academically but has grown in skills socially and emotionally. She is more confident, more assertive, and she demonstrates everyday life skills, when I ask where she learned these things from she says from school. Everyone at Empire is caring and very dedicated to their profession. It is bittersweet to say goodbye to Empire but I am confident my daughter will be successful in the next step of her education thanks to Empire.
