Sign in to reviewThis place has alright pastries and desserts, but the customer service here is horrible if you have an incident with your food, whether it be customer service related or food safety related (allergies). I had ordered a strawberry funnel cake and an order of churros. I had completely got a different order which was two banana funnel cakes. I would’ve been great with the banana funnel cakes, but I am allergic to bananas. I relayed this to the supervisor Carlos, unfortunately, Carlos is no help at all and quite horrible at his customer service! He really doesn’t need a job in customer service or management! This establishment will not accommodate you whatsoever!!!! If you have an incident with your order with this business, you might as well contact your bank and dispute the transaction if you have a discrepancy with your order. Or better yet just contact the Better Business Bureau or your local health department! Honestly, I feel like there are better dessert places in Berkeley than this establishment. I will definitely be getting my money back from my bank and I will not be returning
I would give 11 stars..this place was so dang yummy my husband an I couldn't even drive off to eat at home..we sat right in the car on our big back stat.and killed our plates..bout ready for a good nap..food that bring you back to child hood for just a min..we loved it.!!!!
Friendly service with wonderful sweets. Quite enjoy their original funnel cake with ice cream on top.
Would need another visit here but I can really see the potential! The theme is fair/faire/carnival foods and they have so much fun stuff, including fried oreos, corn dogs, funnel cakes and ice cream! We only stopped in for (what I hoped would be) a quick snack of an ice cream cone and a caramel apple. Unfortunately despite only one other party being in the shop, I think they maybe had a large order because it took the staff a long time to get to us - you place your own order at the kiosk - and only the ice cream had to be scooped. Anyway, both things passed muster and were thoroughly enjoyed. At $16 plus tip for 2 items it's steep, but it was a treat and we were trying it out. I can totally see this place being a great choice for a catered/themed party and lots of fun things for kids to eat, especially since we never have carnivals around here and it's rarely actually summer! Hope to pop back in for a funnel cake and a milkshake some other time.
I finally came here after months of my niece telling me to visit, and I wasn't disappointed. I order garlic fries, with a chicken sandwich and a small soft serve with chocolate. The chicken sandwich was outstanding, which came with grilled onion on Hawaiian rolls. The garlic fries were good, but they needed a little salt, and the ice cream was amazing along with the whipped cream.... the whipped cream is the best whipped cream I've ever had. My niece also got a small apple funnel cake. If you're in the area, this is a must visit.
