Be careful on the highway. On the way to wilson This truck hit me from the side and kept going. I followed him so I could get his information. People are crazy on the road. I called the company, told them what happened, and they gave me their insurance company's name which is Erie Insurance exchange I filed a claim against the company they took my report about what happened due to their systems being down for couple of weeks they don’t know how long it will be before I can get adjuster to look at a vehicle. So the person I can pay out of pocket for a rental or file it on my insurance and they will reverse me my money back. I don’t feel right filing a claim with my insurance when I’m not at fault . So I guess I have to wait until they get back with me.
I had a tree fall on my Porsche in my driveway Saturday morning due to extreme winds. Erie had an Material Damage Adjuster at my house on Tuesday. Bruno Penetra was extremely professional and very easy to work with. He made the entire process simple and easy. Mr. Penetra explained everything thoroughly and made a stressful experience smooth. Would recommend this company to anyone who was looking for a change.
I was T-boned by an Erie Insured driver on a Wednesday. The very next day, one of their representatives called to get my statement. The day after that they’d approved me a rental, scheduled an adjuster to come out and shared all the upcoming necessary steps. Every person I spoke with was SO friendly and helpful and I have been throughly impressed by their professionalism and the speed of them taking care of me. Two short weeks after my accident they have settled with me and we can move forward in life. Highly recommend them and am so thankful for them in this process!!
My car has now been in the shop for 6 weeks. Nothing has been done due to the Jefas Torres not approving work to be done. My deductible is $1000 and so far he has approved almost nothing leaving me with over $5000 to pay. I call him and he does not return calls. This is the worse insurance company I have dealt with. I have reported them to the NC department of car insurance. Another car with Erie came in to the same body repair shop. Erie approved the claim. We have the same policy.
Absolutely horrendous service. We were dropped by them when I got married due to my partner having 2 minor tickets 3+ years ago with absolutely no way to retain our policies. Even more scummy of them, they still decided to upcharge us a higher rate for the final 3 months until dropping our policy. Never had a big claim or anything, and otherwise clean driving records. Totally unfriendly to customers, and a prime example of why insurance companies are seen as leeches.
