UPDATED: I have just been refunded AFTER posting this review. I did not act in an unpleasant way in the salon, as I am not one to cause a scene, but I called the studio later to discuss my concerns after I had time to reflect. Thank you. -- I booked a haircut with Rachel because she had done my hair well at a previous salon, and I specifically wanted someone I trusted for my sister's wedding. I have long, curly hair, so finding someone who knows how to cut and style it is very important. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told Rachel had a family emergency and had to leave early. I completely understand that emergencies happen, but I was disappointed that no one called me beforehand to let me know she wouldn't be there. I had driven about 20 minutes to the salon, and if I had known in advance, I would have simply rescheduled. Instead, another stylist (I believe her name was Marjan) took over my appointment. I was hesitant but decided to trust the salon because of its excellent reviews. I explained that I wanted a trim to remove only the dead ends because I wanted to keep my hair long for the wedding. I also asked for long layers and some face framing. Instead, around four inches of hair were cut off. While the haircut itself wasn't poorly executed, it was not what I had asked for, and I was devastated to lose that much length. During the appointment, the stylist even mentioned that her own son has curly hair and always tells her she doesn't know what to do with curly hair. Unfortunately, that became very apparent during the styling process. She applied a random curl product to my completely dry hair, which just made it sticky. She didn't wet my hair before styling, didn't scrunch or diffuse it, left the front frizzy, and my hair wasn't even parted properly—it was going in every direction. I had to ask her to fix it because it looked so messy. Anyone familiar with curly hair knows it generally needs to be styled while wet and then diffused or air-dried. I left the salon looking nothing like I expected for such an important occasion. I was so upset about how much hair had been cut off that I cried, and I immediately went home to shower and completely restyle my hair myself. Two days later, I called and spoke with the owner, Elena. She apologized, said she had been out of town and wasn't aware of what had happened, promised to refund me, and said she would investigate the situation and call me back later that day. It's now been two weeks. I never received the promised refund, and I never received the follow-up call. I'm incredibly disappointed—not just because my haircut wasn't what I requested before one of the biggest events in my family's life, but because the customer service afterward was just as disappointing. A sincere follow-up and honoring the promised refund would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

Cannot rave enough about this fantastic salon. Very knowledgeable haircare and incredible skill in balayage and other techniques. The owner, Elena, and staff, Shiva and Olivia, were so warm and generous. I enjoyed hot tea and snacks, with regular check-ins on my well-being, even so far as Elena going next door to ask for cream for my tea. You will be well cared for here, and you'll get a gorgeous style in the process.

Today, I had a truly wonderful experience going to a beauty salon. I’m so happy that I got to know the lovely team there. Olvia is one of the best, and her highlight work, even for someone as picky as me, was absolutely excellent. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, made even more special by Elena’s kindness. They are very client focused and truly respect their clients’ preferences. I will definitely become a regular customer, and I’m very happy with my choice.

I had a wonderful experience at Euphoria Hair Studio! I got my hair layered and styled, and the results were exactly what I wanted. Marjan listened carefully to my preferences and did an amazing job. She was professional, talented, and had the best attitude. The salon itself was very welcoming and friendly, and everyone made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. I highly recommend Euphoria Hair Studio and will definitely be returning in the future!

Thank goodness I only came in for a shampoo and blowout and not a haircut. I was in a rush and called ahead for a wash and blow dry. When I arrived, there were three staff members available, and I was assigned to the only person who did not appear to have the credentials or name tag as the others. Unfortunately, the experience reflected that. During the shampoo, water got into my ears three separate times, which has never happened to me before. Then during the blowout, the technique was not what I would expect from a professional stylist. Instead of using the round brush to smooth the hair downward and reduce frizz, she repeatedly dried sections across the hair rather than following the direction of the hair, making the result look unfinished. What was most frustrating was the lack of focus. A friend of the stylist came in and spent much of the appointment talking with the stylist. A simple shampoo and blowout that should have taken 30–40 minutes ended up taking 1 hour and 5 minutes. The biggest indication that something was off came at the end. Another stylist stepped in, immediately noticed the issue, and had to redo not only the front section but also much of the back of my hair. The difference in technique was obvious, and she accomplished in a few minutes what should have been done correctly the first time. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional and poorly supervised. I left wondering why I had spent over an hour in the chair for a basic service that ultimately had to be redone. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.
