Whoever Annie is, she is trying to singlehandedly ruin the reputation of this homecare company. For months my auntie had been trying to change the time of her care shifts but Annie keeps telling her “no you’re scheduled for care at this time” - thank you we realize that it’s scheduled already, we want to change the schedule- surely the client has the right to decide what time a person shows up at their home, do they not? Especially at the premium price paid for care. But alas, Annie thinks she can tell us when carers will show up even if it’s inconvenient for the family and the patient! And the poor supervisors they send to the home can’t do anything about it because we can tell they are also terrified of Annie. They have that “deer in headlights” look whenever her name is mentioned. Surely there must be nepotism or something at play, so posting here to caution prospective families to seek care elsewhere if they don’t want their loved ones schedule dictated by someone else.

I am very happy with Huyen’s service, she comes every day to cook me meals, doing laundry, cleaning house, and other chores. She learns fast, takes initiatives to do chores without me prompting every move, always on schedule, always wash her hands the first things enters home, I felt very comfortable with her.

Love working for this company ! You can tell they really care about their employees! I’ve never had a job that cared so much about how their employees feel ! They check up on us , and they like to make sure you’re comfortable with the client they are sending you too !

Family Resource Home Care has wonderful providers—when you can get them. And I have no worries about the safety and level of care they provide. Unfortunately, the biggest issues are poor communication and unreliable scheduling that leave us scrambling. The phone system is extremely difficult to navigate, making it nearly impossible to reach staff at the Seattle branch. There are no direct phone numbers, they all go through a phone tree, even when just trying to call our main branch. And, their scheduling team does not take incoming calls; today I spent 60 minutes on hold—constantly being told I was “next in line”—only to be kicked to voicemail after 30 minutes each time, forcing me to call back and continue waiting. When I’ve asked how the phone system could be improved, the branch manager shared his frustration and recommended leaving this Google review to escalate the issue. It's clear that regional leadership does not view it as an issue worth addressing, and this results in poor customer service. Communication is particularly important when it comes to care for the elderly because it’s a safety matter to know who is coming into our home to care for a vulnerable family member. When we try to get care outside our standing/regular days of care, we are rarely told in advance who will be assigned, nor are we notified when caregivers cancel. This is all despite repeated assurances that we would be. Neither schedulers nor branch managers reliably notify us of the caregiver we can expect, leaving us guessing who will knock on our door and scrambling at the last minute. I value and appreciate the caregivers we've had the opportunity to work with, but just wish our experiences with their administrative and scheduling team has been more positive. Especially since we're paying for these services.

I had such a wonderful experience with Alicia last week. The caregiver concept is completely new to me, so I really didn’t know what to expect. Alicia was very easy to work with and she made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. She’s very polite, attentive and sweet. I had her for 8 hours, where she drove me to the hospital for the appointment; took me for grocery shopping; did chores around the house and made me enough food for a few meals - her enchiladas were DELICIOUS - it was so good to have homemade food after eating takeouts for weeks. I highly recommend Alicia and Family Resources Home Care if you ever need home care.
