Fedelta Home Care - Portland

I have worked with a number of caregiving companies, and Fedelta Home Care is among the worst of them. During my time with them, I experienced repeated sanitation issues, mistreatment from staff, and having my concerns dismissed. Ultimately, when I raised these issues, the company told me they were letting me go as a client. The quality of care I experienced at Fedelta was consistently very poor. I had rotting food left on dishes and in reusable straws, which, if I had not noticed, could have made me incredibly ill. I had bed sheets put on my bed while they were still wet, areas I had repeatedly asked staff to clean left with visible dirt, and food purchased for me by caregivers that was covered in mold, among other incidents. Additionally, I was treated very poorly by both caregivers and office administration. Caregivers would often become angry with me when I corrected them or asked them to fix things they had done incorrectly. I had caregivers accuse me of faking my disability because I “didn’t seem sick,” trauma dump on me about their personal lives when I was clearly uncomfortable, and give me the silent treatment or ignore me when they were unhappy that I asked them to do things. When I raised these concerns with Destiny, I was routinely dismissed, and I ultimately never got the opportunity to fully discuss my concerns before the company decided to stop working with me. There was also an instance where a caregiver bought me a large amount of food that was completely covered in black mold. Destiny told me that I would receive a refund for this, and I repeatedly reminded her and asked her about the refund over a period of months. Ultimately, the money I was owed was never returned to me. When I asked about it again months later, she went back on her word and told me she could not give me a refund. Overall, this was an absolutely horrible experience with a company whose employees were unprofessional and neglectful. Based on my experience, I would think twice before working with Fedelta Home Care.

The supervisor was very clear as to what the caregiver could provide.&tild her what I need and the experience or reasons I think I can use each session and how I came in need of services that family members ,who also work their jobs now is getting to be too much to handle so maybe there might not enough what things they can also do.(since I have never needed help before) I am willing to give it try since the supervisor explained the program so throughly.

Been requesting a newly signed contract fr the Portland office for a YEAR since Fidelta acquired Paladin-Pegasus (previous company). No contract and they don't care about proper protocol. Why should I trust them to represent me in hospital when they are uncooperative providing a simple, proper contract. AVOID!!
