Five Star Auto Repair

Five Star Auto Repair is an auto repair shop at 6396 W Sahara Ave in Las Vegas, NV 89146. Its customer feedback points to a practical combination of vehicle diagnosis, repair, and clear communication. Reviewers describe getting help with different kinds of vehicles, from a 1963 Thunderbird to a 2015 Corvette, as well as support when evaluating a car before purchase. The listing shows a 4.9 rating across 439 reviews, offering local drivers a useful snapshot of customer experiences.

Customers mention Mike, also referred to as Michael, for being straightforward and helpful throughout the repair process. One reviewer brought in a classic Thunderbird after another shop had mistakenly put oil in the coolant reservoir. They called Five Star, arranged service, and got the car back in time for their wedding. That account highlights the value of having a shop willing to listen, assess a problem, and explain the next steps, especially when a vehicle issue is stressful or time-sensitive.

The shop is also mentioned for pre-purchase inspections. A buyer purchasing a vehicle from out of state contacted Five Star after a local dealership recommended the business. Michael helped coordinate the inspection with the seller, giving the buyer a way to have the car evaluated before completing the purchase. For shoppers who cannot personally inspect a vehicle, this kind of service can be a useful step in making a more informed decision. The review does not promise a particular inspection outcome, but it does describe a responsive process.

Other feedback describes a polite, helpful visit in which staff diagnosed an issue and explained that the car needed a new fuel pump. A Corvette owner also praised Mike for being up front after a disappointing experience elsewhere. Together, these reviews suggest that Five Star may be worth considering for drivers who value explanations they can understand and candid conversations about repairs. The comments cover both everyday concerns and enthusiast-owned vehicles, without suggesting that every repair or vehicle type is guaranteed to be a fit.
