I haven’t been to a lot of Lebanese restaurants but I wish every other one would be as good as Forn AI Hara. We went in with empty stomaches after a morning hike. We did not really know what to order/expect but the owner helped fix us up and it ended up costing only 12 dollars. The portion was beyond generous for what we paid for and the flavor and texture were incredible. Flat bread was cooked to perfection - crunchy yet supple when biting into it. The zaatar spice and the ground meat blended perfectly together but it was the acidity in the toppings that made each bite so interesting and addictive. AND we got a lot of free baklavas from the owner. Besides the impeccable flavor and price, Forn AI Hara oozes humbleness and hospitality, something that felt quite rare and moving in today’s hyper inflated food scene. This was an eye opening meal for me, and, despite a foreign flavor, somehow felt home to me.

Definitely a great hot spot for manakeesh! The place also has a diverse menu. Laheem Bel Ajeen and Zaatar/Cheese are definitely highlights.

It’s places like this that remind me how wonderful the Arab world is. I feel like I’m walking into a Breakfast spot in Lebanon every time I step in here. I come here every weekend, and order a mix of Cheese and Zaatar Manaeesh, and its so consistently good. I believe the owners are brothers (twins?), and they’re amazing people. I’ve seen them help families, give every tip in the tip jar to the bakers, and laugh/joke with every customer. I go out of my away from LA to drive here, this is the spot. P.S., get sesame seeds on the cheese manoushe.

Cheese boat is the best. Delicious and very soft dough. Also cheese with zaatar. Everything we had was very tasty 😋 and the portion is good for 2. For sure coming back soon.

Food remains great, but the wait is unfathomable. I would order ahead next time for sure. It took one hour for me to get my order. And half of it was wrong. It was delicious still, just not what I had ordered.
