Fred’s has a quote that says “best sandwich in North America” and I would say that they do a good job backing that up! I ordered the Burger Stack and it was a really good burger! It was a nice size and really fair price for the quality and size of the burger. I feel like you could go to a sit down restaurant and pay much more for something smaller and not as good. Definitely a big fan of Fred’s. The Crog Market is super cool too. It’s pretty much just a big food hall so there’s cool vibes there!

We ordered the Shrimp Po’ Boy and the Korean Cheesesteak. I only managed to take a photo of the packaging and a small part of my sandwich, the moment I saw them, I forgot everything else 😄 …

I’m willing to increase my stars if someone can tell me what exactly what this is and make this right. I’ve ordered the Korean Cheesesteak (Ribeye) from them 5 times. This time the meat was different. It was big, tough, chunks and the sandwich was edible but not pleasant. Also much smaller? Each sandwich previously had the typical, soft, chopped up, easy-to-bite, bits of meat, like you would usually get in a cheesesteak. If this is the Ribeye, then I’ve been paying EXTRA each time and not getting it, because this is not the same meat. If this is something else, I want to make sure I NEVER order it again. Please, someone at Fred’s, what is this meat? I drove 30 mins, paid an automatic 15% gratuity, and was so unhappy.

The fries looked so good when I first saw them, so I had high hopes. Unfortunately, they were extremely greasy, and the combination of oil and butter was way too heavy for my stomach. There was nothing particularly special about them, and I …

Quality is not as it used to be. I loved Fred’s! Fries are now hard, cold and not flavored the same. The cheesesteak used to be way better. “Michelin Guide” is good marketing because there is a line to order, but I never take that serious. I bet most, like me won’t be back. What a shame.
