Sign in to reviewI had a pleasant surprise when I brought my car in for brakes. They had done my front brakes last year and I had a little rubbing sound recently so I figured I’d need new brakes or pads, at a minimum. I had my son-in-law pick me up, and I waited at his house for what I assumed would be bad news. Josh called to let me know that they could find nothing wrong with either the front or rear brakes, at least nothing that required immediate repair. When I went in to pick my car up, they reassured me it was safe to drive and I could check back in about six months. The only charge was the $70 inspection fee which I was told about upfront. This is the second time I’ve taken my car there and I’ve always had a good experience. Thanks, Fredy and Josh!
I've taken my truck to Freddie's twice now and I'm very pleased with the quality of work , pricing and how quickly I was able to get back to working on the Prayer Mtn. Awesome staff reliable and trustworthy. Thank you Freddie's
I’m sure they’re great with general maintenance. But I told them I most likely had issues with wiring around my alternator. They said they don’t do wiring and that they send it to someone else if that’s the case. Next day they called to tell me I needed a new alternator. Fine I paid the 492$ for the alternator. Then put a new battery on like they said. Next day my car dies again in traffic on the freeway 🤣 I find a way to another mechanic, they put a fresh ring terminal on the wires for the alternator. A $7 job… and my car runs like a champ now. They could’ve just been honest and checked my wires instead of leaving me almost $500 short stranded in the highway with my kids in the car. New alternator was definitely not needed.
Great 👍 people good workers 👏 they did a big job on my truck and kept me informed on the progress and work and found a couple things I may want to give attention to since we were already there. They did a great job on all the work, im extremely happy that they got my truck back on the road so quickly and it starts & runs better then ever 💪
Freddie has always taken care of my family when we were growing up in Rancho penasquitos and I recently moved back home with my kids and wife. So happy to have Freddie still fixing the family vehicles and knowing my wife and kids are in good care! Highly recommended! Recently fixed my work truck and my did some basic maintenance in the family 4Runner. Great prices and amazing service.
