FreedomCare PA is a home health care service in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, located at 1700 Market St #1005, Philadelphia, PA 19103. The business is relevant to families looking for support with care at home and to people interested in helping an older adult remain as independent as possible. Customer feedback describes the value of assisting elderly people to live independently, and one reviewer discusses caring for a loved one who lives with them. For households exploring home care, FreedomCare PA may be worth contacting to ask whether its services and process fit their circumstances. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and closed Saturday and Sunday.

Reviews reflect a range of experiences rather than a single uniform view. Some customers describe the support positively once care is underway, including one who called the process structured and praised the support after getting started. Another reviewer says the initial process can take time, an important consideration for families planning care. Feedback also includes concerns about customer service, inconsistent answers, and difficulty getting a direct response. Because individual needs and experiences vary, prospective clients may want to discuss their questions directly with FreedomCare PA, confirm the steps and expected timing, and make sure they understand what support is available before proceeding.

The business has a reported rating of 4.7 out of 5 based on 305 reviews. That score offers one useful overview, while the written comments provide additional context: reviewers mention both rewarding caregiving experiences and practical issues that matter when arranging care. One caregiver describes the work as positive and meaningful, while noting that mileage allowance could be an added benefit. Another review describes a change in family circumstances after moving to a different county and the resulting decision to end care. These comments do not establish that every person will have the same experience, but they point to useful questions about caregiver arrangements, service continuity, and communication.

For families in Philadelphia seeking a home health care service, FreedomCare PA is based in a central Market Street location and keeps weekday office hours. It may be a starting point for people considering care for a family member, particularly when helping that person remain at home is a priority. Before making a decision, ask about eligibility, the enrollment process, available support, communication channels, and what happens if a caregiver or family member moves. Clear answers can help you judge whether the service matches your needs and expectations. Contact the office during its listed hours, Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; it is closed on weekends.

Working for Freedom Care was a positive experience for my client and myself. Helping the elderly live independently is a necessary and a rewarding experience. Mileage allowance could be an added benefit.

Healthcare fraud, including potential "Freedom Care" or similar senior care scams, involves false billing, identity theft, and fraudulent services. Large-scale schemes often target Medicare/Medicaid with fake claims, involving billions of dollars. Protect yourself by reviewing Explanation of Benefits (EOB) forms and reporting suspected fraud to the HHS OIG or FBI. Common Indicators of Care Fraud Billing for Services Not Rendered: Providers billing for treatments or care that were never provided. Identity Theft: Using personal information to submit false claims to Medicare/Medicaid. "Doctor Shopping": Fraudsters visiting multiple doctors to obtain excessive prescriptions or services. Billing for Unnecessary Services: Providing items or care that the patient does not need. Freedom Health Freedom Health +3

If you have a loved one who lives with you contact Freedom Care so you can take care of your love one giving them the care they deserve. Freedom care process can be a little long however, once everything is started the process and the support is simply awesome. It’s structured care which means you can’t have a secondary job while caring for your loved one. So it’s great for anyone who’s home with a love one who needs you. Thus far happy with the company and the pay which is weekly. Great company!

Update: I had to move to a different county a couple months ago and my mother wasn’t moving in with me and she was going to be living too far from me so we had to end it with freedom care but then we were told we could put it on hold …

Worst home care company to exist! The costumer service agents all say different things. I can never get a direct answer to my questions. I was placed on hold for a long time then was transferred to the worst supervisor who does not know what is going on. I spoke with some one name Leanne who is the so called supervisor and still cannot get my problem fixed. If she is a supervisor then this company is doomed to put her in charge. She was not helpful and was borderline argumentative. Get better employees because the people that you have are not the smartest especially that problematic supervisor. The 5 star reviews they gave on here is not accurate, as they beg people to give reviews when they talk to you. Please reevaluate your staff because your company will not be successful.
